  10. Firstly , I have nothing against this cross, I've got 2 pups of similar breeding myself, roughly the same age I really like the look of the pup too, but come on.....................................how can you tell that a 7 week old pup will have it in it to do the reds? Please tell me bushtucker man,I would love to know!
  11. IMO, I don't think the age of a bitch has anything to do with how good a mother they are. Some bitches are just naturals, and some just don't adapt to motherhood, don't really know why. My bitch who had 2 pups 8 weeks ago, is 4 years old, and she loves the pups to bits. She plays with them, and still would let them suckle her if we allowed it.She is a natural, although I don't know what she would have been like if she'd had a bigger litter

  15. Tell me about it, it's definately not a decision to be taken lightly, even with a litter of 2 it was hard enough work, but very rewarding too
  16. http://www.thebwra.co.uk/cgi-bin/geneal.pl?op=tree&index=16767&gens=5&db=bwra.dbw The BWRA database has been known to get things wrong, so it could be the right dog. It's certainly got some good breeding with Blue Peter in it. Whip x Grey as got alot of history about the old whippets, so he may be the one to help you
  17. He's a handsome looking dog Troter, love the snow picture
  18. Very nice pups, just my opinion but i like that bit of greyhound in to try andget the size up. I like one around 21/22" for ferreting, lamping rabbits, my little bitch has greyhound in from same the man lines in the dam but has only made, 18 1/4" but she has a nice long back. First bedlington lurcher i had was over 20yrs ago and they are my kind of dog, always give 100%, good temperment and excellent prey drive and more biddable than people say they are but you get out of them what you put in. If i ever breed off my bitch i will put a whippet greyhound over her to get the size up and up the sp
  19. I've been doing AI for the last 16years ,for myself, and to help friends out.
  20. Just getting back into this cross after 25 yrs, but mine are home bred whippet x greyhound Dam, and my mates non-ped whippet x bedlington. At 7 weeks old there good on the re-call when playing in the back garden, also sit on command, but have to bribe with a digestive biscuit
