ive owned my mk2 rapid for 10+yrs and decided to give a r10 a place in the cabinet -- lovely looking rifle but the magazines were crap -decent shot count but not the greatest of hunting tools sold it within 3 weeks went back to cabinet and rapid mk2 back in action I then bought a mk1 rapid and I have to say I bloody love it as a hunting tool the accuracy and shot count is as good as you would need if your into hunting

years ago me &mate were coming home from a bit lamping with air rifle we would drive lanes etc quick flick of lamp and bag a few bunnies we had a webley Vulcan I think -anyway on way home cops flag us down and ask where we been etc " just shooting a few bunnies" seemed ok with the "good cop" big ginger "bad cop" was a different kettle of fish -he took rifle out of boot and put it to my mates head! saying how would you like it if I shot you? we were bricking it lol good cop intervened and took rifle off him and put it back in boot and sent us on way I wont ever forget that

northeast England lads and I still reckon it had a nest as I released it onto lake then sat on nearby hill observing it and it made its way back to tame area -it seemed fine and think it just froze when dogs were mooching nearby ps they only pick birds on command so it was in no danger

came across this little beauty this evening think it was on way to a bramble area so probably nesting -male was in lake and looked black n white in colour
