    I've looked on line can't find anything that even mentions working. Pipe dream really as much as I'd like a native breed working ability comes first.

    Lamb kidneys, blue cheese and ploughman pickle. Then lamb rack cooked whole then put into chops and buttery well seasoned mash. Needed something decent after few days of turkey sambos, take aways and shite.

    Only video from today. Wasn't much stirring but the lurcher got two courses, not that big ears was ever in any danger and Floyd done a bit of trailing on scent. Only got the one video of Floyd trailing a line. Still few hrs out great for the head and body after the excess of yesterday.

    Id like to get a native Irish terrier breed to use for ratting and bushing. Wheaten and Glen bit over kill for rats n rabbits n flushing was thinking Irish be good if I could get one with hunting drive in it.

    Get any hunting related prezzies???.... usually it's socks, jocks and lynx africa, which I got but also got a lovely knife off the sister. Have a couple of decent pocket knives but ya can never have enough imo.

    Just myself and Cú and Floyd today. Flushed plenty of roosters, woodcock and got two marks at rats. First a big rat bolted and gave us the slip but Floyd stayed at the mark and we got one good sized rat. Second mark, rat bolted to another burrow, marked him again and he bolted again but this time in got in under an oak tree so I gave best.....I've had to dig to terriers on this land under the same trees and it's hardship, wasn't going through that for a rat. Got a good hunt then in a woods, Floyd went well and covered lots of ground. Nice few hrs out.

    I don't go lamping proper much as the lurchers not really able but I do take the lamp out walking all the dogs at night with em all running loose. Any this night I managed to squat two even though I'd a lurcher and two terriers mooching all over the field. Cú got first one right outta the squat, second one squat right til end then ran and left him for dust!! Least he can still get an odd one. I'm gonna go lamping proper over the break, give em a couple of slips.

    Went out Sunday. Flushed plenty of big ears and roosters and got 3 rats from two marks. Just my two out. Hopefully get out with pups over the xmass break.

    Non stop action all day. Floyd and his pup Luna never stopped. Flushed all types of game fur and feather and had plenty of action at vermin. Luna pup has made strides today, gone from showing interest and follow interesting scent to looking for, flushing and chasing. She hunted will real intent today for first time. By end of season she'll be primed to be a real rising star in season 2! Got a good mark and big rat for Floyd. Lurcher Cú had plenty of runs and marked a bush well that terriers flushed from. I expect over this season for Floyd and Luna to start to gell into a decent little bushing

    Diabolical around North Dublin/ East Meath. Mixy and especially the RHD has obliterated populations. Mixy always leaves a few stragglers behind RHD has literally wiped em out.

    Very happy with the second mark. Dug down to empty nest and if I didn't know the dog I think he got it wrong but he kept scratching and sniffing at what looked like just muck eventually he dug onto a tube where he found his rat. Trust your dogs.

    Steak, onion rings and onions, chorizo, pepperoni, eggs, rasher fried up... Nice after few hrs mooching.
