So went down to a spot I usually do during the spring/summer months, always good for quick hr and not far from gaff. Unfortunately alot of the big briars been cleared out but still got a bolt.

Been off bread/pizza and minimum amount of pasta for a yr or so but fell off the wagon tonight.... Cheese pot, Fochia bread, pizza n beer! All Lidl.

Id love to hunt a mink along a river and put him to a hole and scratch him out with my terrier....Ive never seen in the wild but I'm sure my lad has given tongue on one a couple of times when hunting along local streams and I think he marked a hole before that something bolted unseen from. Like a rat hole but had bones n feathers in it.

Out local for a quick hr or so. Got two good hunts at bunnies. Viewed first lad 3 times as he was pushed through very thick briars. Floyd done very well to get him out of the second patch of briars twice. Second one gave him a good run around a smaller briar but very heavy cover, he pushed hard. Delighted.

Like to eat what the locals eat when away, have to say food in Slough is good. Two or 3 days eating in that pot of curry, all Lidl.

Good pack of Irish harriers and no deer about to riot on is my favorite day tbh. Im very happy with that, couple of good marks n dig or two..... that's my ideal day out but life doesn't allow for that these days so im happy just to be out mooching n ratting. I'm as happy as pig in shit to hunt away here in Ireland in good country with good bogs n cover but I would love a day out with a Fell pack across the water without any hassle from cops or antis etc....obviously.
