  1. Just ignore these messers mate...I know where there's a 4 year old collie x whippet if that's any help...PM me if you need the lad's number...FFS lads the boy was only looking for help...
  2. First time I have heard mention of anything GSD related since Geoff 'Blackgreyhound' Battams left the building...come to think of it all of his GSD/Mal/Huskie disciples have gone all quiet too............... For all of those who long for the Call of the Wild...have a gander at this...the dog munching the 'pheasant at the foot of his master bed' cracked me up.... more woburn woes (3).pdf
  3. Spot on Em...was just getting the brain in gear to respond and you did it better than I could have...first class...
  4. Id say yes,a dog can still be kept in reasonable shape until bringing it up to working fitness levels as Autumn turns to winter, possibly depends on the individuals interpratation of fit. Not disputing that...but there's a difference between being in reasonable shape and fit...my dogs are in reasonable shape but they are nowhere near as fit as they were two months ago...It's not important for me to have them fit at this time of the year...I just keep 'em ticking over...rest and recreation... its nice to have a few months of fun with minimum risk of picking up injuries An un
  5. the bloke has been in solitary for 30 odd year is there any wonder lol Sure I read he was released in 1988 but was jailed after 60 odd days for planning an armed robbery...I may be wrong but then again I'm no expert on this guy...have never understood the fascination folk have for these kinda people...beyond me...

  8. I have a fear of heights...seriously I looked at that and my feet and legs started to tingle...I couldn't have stood anywhere near that f***ing thing..no way...just looked again and the legs went...
  9. Use my mouth - two tone whistle for recall...all my dogs come to same two tones...and a long single tone for stay...keep it simple...
  10. Would it need to be fit at this time of year????
  11. Ah but there's snow at the side of the road and that was in July....
  12. they have already started to silage here, by far the earliest i have ever knownThey've been out at it for about a week here too mate, tractors everywhere today.. Plenty of grass growing here though, might start saving my lawn clippings up and baling it! There was bales left to rot in the field down the road all winter, how much is one of those big round ones worth? About £30...
  13. A decent working dog...gathering, driving on the hill and park and able to work sheep in and around buchts and lorries and at lambing time will be worth that...it certainly won't have been bought with breeding at the forefront of the owners mind... I paid £700 for a good dog away back in 1985 and I had him for 10 years and sold two or three for much more mid 90's. Seriously, even half decent working collies are fetching two or three grand...and a young dog showing promise will set you back £500 easily... Think this dog is USA bound...trials are big time popular across there...
  14. Had all of the above and more...the "I have to be home by" xxxx time is a real pisser...
  15. Wernt you also the person who reccomended a shock collar for a dog that yaps while running ? If hares are pest control to you kill enough in winter and you shouldnt need to hunt them in summer. If you hunt them in summer with dogs you have no respect for them. Simple. Atb Yep if need to do it in summer find anova f*****g job . also I would love to no all these so caled pest controlers company names if they realy are in the trade of pest controling for real lol Pest controllers my arse....half o them are just f***ing pests....
  16. As Mrs Crosby was known to say..............
  17. If this goes on much longer lads it'll be September and pointless...
  18. Why thank you.......... Thought that myself but am far too polite to say such things...kinda like the pics my three year old daughter takes... And she's f***ing shit at taking pics...
  19. R.I.P young man - thought about you and yours a lot today...
  20. And therein lies the problem...I was young once...and now I ain't anymore...and it's far too late for me to get on the ole high horse who goes by the name sanctimony...hopefully he'll learn...and you'll be able to rest assured that the hares down your way get to enjoy their summer break...happy days...
  21. Me neither...Baby On Board... And...so f***ing what... Racehorses/Greyhounds in transit... And...who gives a f**k and why do I need to know what your carrying... Next thing it'll be a long black motor with "Dead b*****d on Board...
