Jesus mate - you've only had 3 years to get it sorted...I know Rome wasn't built in a day but that's just being a lazy twat... Pick and shovel, wheelbarrow, couple o skips and some turf on one half...veg plot on the other...and a bit o sweat and cursing...job done...

How many Nuttalls have you had???? Lots by the sound of it eh? Nuttalls "are a load of shit"...be interesting to see what you base this on???? I'd be willing to bet it isn't an opinion based on hands on experience...

I think this the main issue which causes fussy eating...pups being given too much to eat and a constant stream of uncooked, cooked, complete, treats, scraps and the like...total overload ...owner getting stressed, trying this, that and the other...don't think I have ever heard of a dog starving itself to death...just stick it's food down give it 15/20 mins and lift it...

Ah reckon that is nothing out of the ordinary also depends how much you've stretched it...

Ha ha...she's a pretty girl...

He was a challenge when he was a pup...perfect hunting partner now...

The half x was a strange puppy...very laid back...even detached...and that was nothing to do with where he came from (Hancock) or a lack of socialisation as I made sure I had him back to Scotland a couple of days before he was 7 weeks old...it was just his nature... However the 'switched off' phase it didn't last long because he became a real challenge at certain points throughout his training...wilfull, manic, headstrong, obsessive with a real f**k you mate attitude...but intelligent beyond belief and eager to please...when I had him in the 'zone' so to speak he was a joy to work with...t

Dave - he came here...looked at the big lads...they sniffed him out and have largely ignored him since...my dogs are all pretty much laid back...and this guy has fitted in just perfectly...had him at work with me this morning...seemed to enjoy it...not sure if he'll make much of a waller though...he slept most of the morning...

I have a Wyandotte silk x here that is evil..and last month when it was going broody it booted my old terrier in his head when he went near it.. ..he just walked of as though nothing had happened.. Millet - you're spot on mate...stockbreaking is basic stuff...and too often ignored... Dogs that are sound with adult sheep can often have their head's turned by wee woolly skipping lambs...constant reinforcement works well for me...I'm in the heart of sheep country here...no room for mistakes... Jacqui has a broody hen sitting on a clutch of 6 Blue Laced Wyandotte eggs at the mi

Once had a terrier kill 2 chickens belonging to clients I was hedgelaying for...both he and she were are at work and I'd be a liar if say I didn't contemplate just burying them and saying nowt...decided to own up...and as a goodwill gesture I tightened up some coping stones on one of their walls...no charge...old and valued customers now...

In the past I have seen dogs who are 100% bombproof with sheep/cattle just go to pieces when these chook-chookers start flapping about under their noses... And having a dog kill my wife's hens would be a poor show... Jacqui helps me with pups, is pretty knowledgeable and is always particularly keen to make sure they are feather-proof.... It's hard work all this 'not' being allowed to chase things...

Yeah, Hancock bred the dog...he did make a good job of stripping him...I was a bit worried at lunchtime though...it looked a lost cause...thought I was gonna have to shoot him...and that's not the dog I'm on about.. had two of hancocks dogs a 1st cross and a 5/8 3/8 border beardie both worked well how do u find urs at working ? i have been looking a 1st cross for a while now but find it hard to find a home bred litter so thinking of just getting a hancock bred bitch He's my fourth Hancock do...he's a grafter this one...brave, athletic and with a nose you'd need to see to appreci

Aye and don't feed it again for a fortnight or even three weeks - it'll eat after that.....nah only joking....good advice for your own sanity if nothing else...find a supplier of minced products and you'll not need to worry about complete...he'll be getting more from the raw than any complete...
-
Finn my half x collie/greyhound...26 months and just been stripped out today by my 15-year-old son...he's made quite a tidy job too.. . He'll be a bit cooler now...
