  1. super healthy strong looking pups, good luck with them.
  2. Do you mean the jab that prevents them coming in season. If so DONT TOUCH IT if you want to breed in the future, we used it on a bitch and she didnt come into season for 3 years, the vet didnt tell us about the side effects some bitches never return in season if you use it several times. Vets even offer a course of these injections instead of spaying.
  3. my vet told me that the injection they use is the same as they give us females to abort.
  4. I paid £50.00 last week, but vets were quoting as much as £.00 lot of greedy vets around so it is worth shopping around.

  10. Sadly people have to learn and sometimes learn from a very bad experience. You cant put an old head on young shoulders. Hopefully yamboy has learnt from this dreadful experience. It will make him seriously consider the worth of breeding in the future and hopefully gain some more experience.

  13. Any news how are the pups doing now?
  14. This happened to me with my first litter of patterdales three weeks ago, its devastating but you can save them. I have 4 left out of 7, 2 were born detached placenta and first born she attacked. firstly it was my bitch first litter and im sure she thought they were rats as she tried to eat the first one because it was squeaking. In turn i got stressed and she got stressed and we got more stressed and she got more stressed. Next, as the last 4 were born we took them and put them in a warm bed while we calmed down, got the bitch sorted, fed the pups with a dropper and then gently re introduced t
  15. Thank you i didnt know about this and will pm you when your mail box is empty.
  16. Super terriers, very nice indeed.
  17. I will pm you. Stig, circumstances sometimes dictate things and due to health we were unable to go out and do fencing but as we are now both recovering we will be able to fence a little at a time, i agree with you and breaks my heart to have to pay someone to do the job.
  18. Ive got a fencing contractor coming in to do a small area which is costing £500. and then over the next few months i will get the field fenced off with post rail and with chain fence behind. This will go along a hedge so will be very secure. Thank you all for your posts its been really informative and i will keep reading any other suggestions. Its just nice to know that you can let them run in the field and be secure and able to have some fun let down time. Oh and yes pardon my ignorance but what is cut down Harris?
  19. Its no garden its a field, I was asking about fencing that is all, you have your way of doing things and i have mine.
  20. Its terrible stuff, ive got one here with collars for sale, the wire is constantly getting damaged by wild life. It really doesnt work well on sloping ground either.
  21. I believe they started crossing them with poodles so that they dont malt and so that people with allergies could own them. I cant stand them and then when you have a broken coated and stupid people say oh you have a patteroodle..... Labraoodles go for about £650
