  1. At the end of the day, if you're not good enough, you're just not good enough. No shame in that. Totaly out played. Well done Australia. Can't see how Lancaster or Robshaw can stay on now.
  2. Come on England!! Tight game tonight. My heart says England, but my head says Australia. I just don't think England are good enough at the moment. And I can't even have a f**king beer either, I'm full of cold and a sore throat from hell. Anyway, we'll see................
  3. I reckon this dude would do Ronnie no problem.
  4. Just been working out one or two things. Englands extra bonus point may come in handy at the death. Assuming they beat the Aussies that is.
  5. England HAVE to beat the Aussies simple as, and I think they will. Wales-Australia isn't in the same league as Wales playing England for passion stakes. With all Wales' injury problems, and the intencity of last night game. I hope, hope!! They won't be "up" for the rest of their pool matches.
  6. World cup final 2003. All tied. Mintues to go. Englands line out. Where did that ball get thrown to ?? Robshaw may be Englands second leading captain in number of times he's lead the side, but his decision making is poor, has been from the start.
  7. I said earlier on in this thread that the RWC hasn't grabbed me and after last nights performance I'm worse. Well done to Wales, hanging on by their boot laces at the end but they did what good teams do.........They crawled out a win. The Wales-Austraila game will be a cracker now. Winner to move forward, the loser goes home. Hope so anyway. At the time I thought Robshaws decision to go for the courner was the right one. (A draw or a loss is the same really. England still need to beat the Aussies and hope results go their way in other pool matches) But throw to the back FFS. Get into some
  8. Well who'd of thought that ?? Well done the Nips. One thing I don't like about this years tounrnament however, is the bonus point system. Japan have just had their greatest victory in Rugby, but because the Boks scored 4 tries and were within 7 points at the end, they are only 2 points behind in the pool table. The end result will go down to who has the most bonus points irrespective of how many games they've won. That pool is wide open now and could have an effect on Englands progress.
  9. I can't get revved up about the World cup. Rugby just isn't the same for me as it was back in the days when I played. That saying, i'll still be watching it. England really need to win the pool I feel. Coming second in this pool means playing the Boks in the quarters. I think thats the end of it for whoever finished second in pool A. If England win the pool and the quarter against Scotland/Samoa, it could be France or Ireland in the semi. Could be another final for England if it all pans out.
  10. Can't fish for toffee, just like his dad................ Well done Walsh junior.
  11. A Barbel out of the Dove.................... Preferably a double. :notworthy:
  12. My soil got better the more compost and organic matter i put on it. One part of the allotment was still heavy though. I'd dig it in the late Autumn, it would rain, and i'd have to dig it again because the soil had "settled" Very heavy work.
  13. Thats Rubarb mate.............. Looks a bit like a Plum tree to me. but i'm no expert. Whats the soil like ?? Heavy/light/sandy. Mine was really heavy, good in the summer as it held on to the moisture, but a ba*tard to dig.
  14. Not sure of the name. But we worked on the powerline just behind your allotments.
  15. Unfortunately, this is as good as it gets around here.
  16. Know them. Did some work at the farm close by a few years back.
  17. Yeah, your right............. :tongue2: Where abouts is your plot ?? This is how mine looked like at the start of my first year.
  18. From this. ......To this. ......To this. Three plots. Two down each side, One across the top, with a "T" shaped path in the middle. Three year crop rotation.
