    Umm, I don't know. Surely if it was a rock or snag, the braid would be frayed?? Just seems strange for it to go in the middle. Thanks for the replies though.

    Had my 18lb Korda Super natural braid hooklength part again last night, thats twice in a week. Both times it went about 8-10 inches from the hook. The first time I let the fish go a bit, last night I held on a bit more. Same result both times. The cut on the first break was clean, last nights was only slightly frayed. I'm not that experianced with braid. I use 3 foot of it, a hair tyed to an size 8 Drennan hook with a knotless knot, then a overhand knot with a rig sleeve over a quick change swivel at the other end and thats it.     Just lost one. Snapped 18lb braid. B@stard...... Must have done me on some rocks or something, went in the middle of the hooklength. Bollocks!! Had one of these earlier though, Horrible things.

    Not for me. Had 300, 410 and a Match, just couldn't get on with the Match. The bail arm on mine was really stiff to close, even after having it serviced. It was quite disconcerting striking into a river Trent Chub, not quite knowing how much line would be given out before I could get the bail arm engaged. Moved over to Ryobi mastermatch reels, then onto to a Shimano supermatch's. Now only use Shimano reels. However, the only reel from that era I would use is a ABU 507. But they're still fetching good money and I need/want more than a couple.

    Long story short. My daughter had a man assault the security guards, then the Police where she works. The above offences were commited by the man. What, if any punishment will he get ?? Just curious, as she's still a little shaken up.

    Ok thanks, be a good day so worth it I ain't paid for them. I'd have been watching the game on the TV. Got them off a mate who's company has a hospitality package. Free bar, free food, that sort of thing. Result for me.
