  1. See, there in lies the problem Snap. I don't have much lamping permission and my set up has cost me nothing, apart from the bumbag i carry the batteries in, and i'd already got that. The rest was all free from work. The new bulb was a £5 from Ebay and said it was genuine Osram/Lightforce ?? I'll keep it as a spare. Thanks.
  2. Right, here goes then. Iv'e played a decent standard of golf and if i'm honest someone paying £90 would be better off buying a good putter. I realise the club is aimed at a certain type of golfer, and maybe they might benefit from it, but i can't see how one iron can replace all the other 13. I carry a 2 iron in my bag and to suggest this club can play the same shape of shot as that with only having a 9 iron length shaft in it, well i can't see it i'm afraid. The swing plane of a 2 iron shaft is a lot flatter than a 9 iron and i don't think you would be able to get the distance of a 2 ir
  3. Only watched the second half of the Ireland game, and thats what happens when the Props are too fit. Unlucky.
  4. I fact i'm that tight iv'e just glued a hole shut in them with Aquaslove ?? Think thats what it's called. As good as new
  5. Umm,...thanks Snap Goes of the measure the length of the bulbs........
  6. Glencoe, and a pint in the Clachaig after a day in the hills.
  7. Just out of interest, does the English coach of the Scottish Rugby Union team sing The Flower of Scotland before kick off ??. I wouldn't. But then i'm not the coach,..........
  8. Or maybe not. Am i the only English rugby suppoter on THL ?? seems that way. Sky plused the Scotland match, so gonna watch that now.
  9. Nice story that. Iv'e had that "He's not staying here" look off the missus too. Well done, i'm sure he'll repay your kindness tenfold.
  10. Ummmm....I must be a right tight git because i wear the cheapest pair of wellies i can find. I wear then every day while walking the dogs and walk through all the bramble and sh*t so they get really abused. When they are knackerd , chuck they away and spend another fiver. I'm a size 13 so finding wellies to fit is sometimes difficult.
  11. Cheers Martin Thats what i was worried about, don't do too much lamping so i'm hoping it'll be ok for awhile. Well tried it last night wilst at work, and,.....Well i couldn't see a f**king difference between the two bulbs.
  12. Wales might go two down with the tricky trip up to Scotland. Ireland could do England a real favour by beating France in Dublin. Another boring minutes of reset scrums against Italy for England tommorow Come on England.
  13. I think it's Forum life in general. I use a Hill walking site, and it just as bad on that. Folks offering to fight other people, iv'e climbed better mountains than you, you use a crap rucksac, blah, blah, blah. I try and stay out of it all, although it's hard when your on the receiving end of it. What i can't understand is, why can't people just accept what other posters say at face value and not get wound up by it. Sometimes the joke/banter is so obviously a pi** take, but they still rise to it. I'm fairly new on this site, but iv'e already worked out who some of these people are.
  14. The new bulb is in, just waiting till it gets darker and i'll give it a go. HL, the reflector is metal so should be ok. Fingers crossed.
  15. My lamp set up is a bit "Heath Robinson" to say the least, but it works ok. The lamps an old one from work, it's called a Panther i think. Iv'e removed the battery and wired it up seprately. But I'm thinking of changing the bulb from 50 watt to a 100 watt. Will this be ok ?? or will it damage the lamp or wires ??. Cheers.
  16. My Dog is called Ossie, my Bitch is Tess. My mate has JRT's. He had two, one is called Rachel and the other was called Delboy. He lost Del, but has another one now, he's wired haired and called Curly.

  18. Japanese Akita across the road did both of hers. 7k total and still not totally better. On another note, done both of mine, went private, took ages to recover and i'm not totally better either, but i don't think i'll get PTS.
  19. I use one of these. http://www.theomm.com/products/packs/UltraWaistPouch.html Two 7ah batteries together side by side fit alright. Get it nice and tight and no worries.
  20. It's about time the powers that be sorted this CROUCH,TOUCH,PAUSE,ENGAGE crap. Just let the front row get on with it. Worked alright when i played. It's taking up far to much of the game now.
  21. Yep, just about sums up alot of topics on here for me aswell. I can't believe how many different names someone can be called just for having a different opinion to other people on here. Ruines alot of good threads IMHO.
  22. The Welsh did very well for the last 15 minutes but they just weren't up to a win over England A very good game and the best team won :boogie: Same old discipline problems with your lot though pal, you're lucky we didn't have our kicking boots on.. If we'd had those kicks matey, or if the game had gone on another 15 mins we'd have had them. Ah well. Ah, but you didn't, the game doesn't and they didn't.......It never does. Good game none the less, and it could have gone either way,.........But it didn't.
  23. Gotta take dogs out now, i wonder if there will be any Welsh lads commenting on the game by the time i get back. None looking at the mo'
