Iv'e just joined Burton Mutual AA. Iv'e been on a walk down the river Dove twice now. Looks very "fishy" I'm after the Barbel and the big Chub. Hoping for a Barbel. A nice double would do to start with.
Thats the way to do it, what a send off.
........As a matter of interest. Tradition dictates that a Maori must always lead the Haka. We trained with the All Blacks in 1991 but darn't ask them to do the Haka for us. :whistling:
Rains a good thing, keeps the turf wet. Once turf dries out it's a ba*tard to get wet again. I was lucky, it rained all week when i layed mine, never had to water it at all.
Keep at it. Looks good.
There is/was a pub in Northampton that was underground, can't remember the name. Being underground meant all the waste fluids had to be pumped out. When i was a stiil sparkying i got sent there to change the sump pump for the toilets and waste water tank. Real small space to get in.
:bad:
Grass it over and all you have to do is mow it.
320 rolls of turf, 3 days to shift and lay it and a week for my Hamstrings to recover. Sadly, it doesn't look like that anymore. Fu*king dogs.

Loch Na Sealga. With Beinn Dearg Mor on the left with Beinn Dearg Bheag on the right. Loch Toll an Lochain poking out in the middle. Oh, and not a house for miles.
Top pictures. So much nicer when the suns out.
When i did that route, it hammered it down. I went into Dubs bothy for some snap. There were already some other guys in there eating and having a hot drink. All i'd got to drink was water. I was fu*king freezing and pi*s wet through. I vowed that day to always carry a stove so I could mash a hot drink.
LOL.
More man mountain than mountain view.
Here's one of my two, a stupid hat and me on the summit of Meall na Tarmachan, near Killin, Scotland. Picture taken just 30 seconds before Ossie decided to pi*s off over the ridge for what seemed like ages, but was probably only 5-10 minutes after something. Fu*king relieved when he eventually returned. My life would not have been worth living if I had gone off the mountain without him thats for sure.
OK, from the top.
