    i can only give my own opinion how i found the man he didnt try and force a sale and was not pushy. in contrast i have found a few to be arseholes when trying to sell.

    True bill the rough coated merles were the sellers. He should have carried on breeding pups from collies like the chuck arrowsmiths collie and their like.

    i went down to hancocks in the 80s 6 times and i agree he was a pleasant man to talk to and his wife joan was a nice woman. In my opinion in the early days Hancock did do a lot of research into working collies and brought in some collie pups from good working lines back in the 80s.

    Hancocks poultry farm went into liquidation. He had a couple of acres. It was plummers idea about the commercial set up of breeding collie crosses and the rest is history.

    All i know about the litter of gsd/grey litter hancock bred was he could not sell them he gave a few away one to GB and i think the rest were pts.

    The dog in question was called spider i think but hancock didnt breed him. The pup he had from hancock was later on.

    i remember his posts. In the 80s Hancock bred a litter of from his gsd guard dog to a greyhound and gave him a pup.

    ive had 3 reach 17 a border collie a beardy/greyhound and a jack russell. Got a bedlington who is 13 and is doing fine.
