    saw a few big lumps in my time and well most lacked agility pace and running wind maybe there a new type getting bred ,but once you go so big they dont have same abilty for allround running shame as they look the part,

    saw several collie whippet greyhound type all were soft mouthed, retreived to hand easy ,nlrc feild trail runner up was grew collie cross katie, her mother kizzy fetched to hand and qaulified at the hunting trails as an old dog , luke the son of them retreived to hand again whippet through them , lana minni still retreive to hand with grew in them , they were 24 inches good strong heads , small whipps will struggle on a big rabb at times as there got small jaws , you get the bigger whipp grews back to the good working lurcher strains ypou get a very handy dog , but i wouldnt go for the over s

    bred a litter from tess my whippet grew bitch to a good saluki cross dog out of an old mate of mines a 3 out of 3 dog ,turned out racy like ther mother but with a good engine and go in them with a good running brain , if i had the brain ahah .i would had bred them again as it was an easy way to get a very good allround running dog, i gave tess away to apet home as her stoppers were getting abit worn but a grand little dog and would had put a few lurchers to shame ,i like the croiss but would make sure both parents are well tested like i did

    no he was six month milky you werent there cant beat breeding lines of dogs keeps them [bANNED TEXT] when i saw m chapmans bob win feild trails 91 i thought good dog and d slieghts katie come second got a pup, luke. bred him got lana .mate one cambridge cup or poachers cup , bred him to lana got good dogs then kept breeding them to only dogs that can do the bizznes in the feild only way to get good stock is to breed of proven workers an dlines of proven workers , to many people just breed of any old dog and wonder were they go wrong ,cant beat going out and seeing good dogs wether your own o

    i have 15 mm and 20 mm solid plastic sheeting it would be perfect for cattys ule not bend it but you can work it with jigsaw sander etc very handy stuff can weld it to i use it for protection rails on boats and welding tanks etc for water anything realy maybe be the ideal ticket for quick cheap mateiral and waterproof

    you done a good job , we used to do alot of knife making in the foot and mouth era in early 2000,used walnut birch burrel , flamed beech still got bits lying about got a nice bit of walnut burrel , good hobby,used lead wood to with elk and red deer thumb pieces , as i says agood usefull past time

    easy home work a beddie how much a whippet how much put the to together get an average price as its a purpose bred dog ,done for a reason to be better than both parents at the game in hand , ye 150 to 200 is a fair price ,

    ross 50 to 150 youll get a monkey unless youre lucky to no the right people , do you think good feet wind running brain , silent hunter on all qaurry ,pre ban , youl just get one for 50 pound or a hundred mate you maybe get a rabbit dog at most

    a good dog deserves a good price , if you have proven dogs bred of generaitions of workers no matter if its pure or cross its purposly bred to do a job so pure or cross shouldnt make the diffrence , wouldnt let a pup go for cheap as if you have put the miles in to get top qaulity working stock then your only getting what you put in i would say any top class or proven dogs worth 200 to 300 pounds for several seasons of game and pleasure its a steal and you can breed of him her if worthy , some people can trace lines away back thats why they can charge a price

    had a few greyhound whippet crosses collie type and saluki cross to greyhound whippet bitch, very good dogs i went for the bigger type rex is a very good dog rollo, good his brother ,and sister a little fast hare flusher , lana etc all had hardblood grew in them a good mix but can vary in size at times , but full on and no messing , i wouldnt use pure whippet i would use a cross a big whipp 22 plus to minimise very small pups ,whippet greyhounds have a good mental make up to cross with good qaulity saluki lurchers a good coursing saluk lurcher to a good greyhound whippet you get a good all rou

    better getting apurpose bred working lurcher than a race dog , had one mate had several all broke up on rough ground ,bings skin tore easy , and well there race dogs not all purpose lurchers , but i like the whipps but just not built for the rough and tumble of work at times , get agood grew collie etc maybe qaurt collie no more youl get a real little rabbit dog

    10 pound a ticket and it has nothing to do with lurchers coursing in general l, best avioded if youre a genuine lurcher hunting man unless youre real bored on a sunday maybe get a bargain, looks like another way for the buccleuh to make money

    keeping a few is not a bad idea as its gives you percentages but , a lot of work at times if you have to do them justice , and train them right , and keeping familes of dogs works or same type as you no whats in the melting pot , and can out cross to further it , but its a dedicated game to get the best out of them

    any lurcher and most will do rabbits , small dogs big dogs , this categrising dogs sounds like crufts at times , growing up with lurchers hunting we had hare dogs failed hare dogs could catch rabbs on a lamp easy things changed not for the better in the lurcher game , saw some poor specimans catching rabbs with ease and some very good types to small meduim amd large its a small lurcher ,its the shows and half of the public who are not with it , at times a good old lurcher jack of all trades master of none .fech all this boxes getting ticked for diffrent types of dogs
