    I can never bring myself to let go of a rifle. 1 supersport 2 gamo cfx 3 aa s410 These three have done me for 14 years the bsa from age 10 to 20 and that was a hand me down Im hardly a horder but I keep hold of things, I also have a house full of crap I probably should have got rid of Im sure you guys will end up with your perfect arms cache in the long run .atb. .ste. Davy if that was a condition of sale its a bit off not even letting you know.

    Leave em in the garden over night, kick em around the grass and mud a bit. Thats the first thing I do with anything new, hunting clothes wise anyway. Obviously a t.v would not get the same treatment. Never wash them unless you cant get the b.o out by thrashing them around the garden, even then only wash without detergent ect, then when clean, yep you guessed it, kick em around the garden again and leave em out there to get aired off. For me masking sent is equal if not more important than camo. .atb. .ste.

    Use domed pellets! Choose best caliber for you, both will do the job. Practice makes perfect, an smk will do the job you are right altho it may not group as tight as you might like at range imo. .atb. .ste.

    I can beleve it si I have seen them come of andys back stop ready to go back in the tin Nice one davy, sp for pics and autopsy, that is a great example of a deformed pellet. Did you manage to find cause of death?? :laugh: .atb. .ste.

    Just an independant fact, I did state it was an aa because I bet a bis mag would have looked like it was fresh out the pack after going through two rabbits :laugh: Im not all that with the tecnical jibba jabba (as im sure you guys know) my experiance has come largely from my own observations sutch as this .atb. .ste.

    Me and steve have infact dug a pellet out of a rabbits scull, .177 aa diablo, it looked like the skirt had gatherd up a bit and caught up with the domed end on impact, the domed end was noticably flattend off in an uneaven fasion, we were both examining it in steves sink at 4am one morning after lamping If a .22 and a .177 hit a kz at 11ftlb and do not pass through then shurely both transfer the same energy?! It makes no difference to me as I hit brain time after time as im sure many of us do :laugh: Edited to say thats suposed to be jokey but sounds cocky lol .atb. .ste.

    Me and my shooting buddy steve have seen one on our permission, only saw it once though, dont know if its still around but I know if I see it its going straght in the bag and im sure steve feels the same You never know there could be a few black ones hopping about in spring, fingers crossed .atb..ste.

    Pumps certainly seperate the men from the boys I have recently got a pump and break into a sweat just looking at it now It was broken when I was kindly lent it by a friend, I swiftly restored it to working order, I dare say if I was looking at buying charging gear I would have gone for a bottle. .atb. .ste.
