IR i used to do a lot of river fishing when i was younger on a local river the derwent in county durham , i spent i lot to time trying to catch the browns most of the sport was with fish in the ounces rather than the pounds the best ever i did have was one and a hlaf pound a really nice wild brown ,but thosae smaller fish were great to catch especiaaly on dry fly so have to be so quick to strike there like lightening takers cheers rob

  11. danny it scares me to say this i was fishing a sporting ticket ,all my fish i catch my mam and dad will eat , so these two went on to live another day it was £15 for catch an d release ,£25 for 3 fish catch and realese i still had a good day but very cold onm the fingers retrieving cheersrob

  13. today me bro in law and me were off fishing to a local stillwater it was so cold today with some of the lake frozen til well after noon the fish were hard to come by today fishing slow and eep , i had these two and tom had 1 all hard won fish , we seen some skiens of geese pass over head on there way north ,all in all a good day we had its been a good long while since i was out flicking the fluff :kiss: heres a couple to peruse over note the ice on the lake cheers rob and the two fish are not the same one just look in there mouth two different flies how dare yo

    me i once met this lady at a game fair she preteneded to be somone else dranks lots of beer and tried at the bar to tap this small guy up he had a new coat and bright shiny shoes , i met some lovely people there and wont forget them

  19. wouldnt have enother shogun gid mate ,really bad on diesel ,had to keep getting discoverys to pull me out when stuck,both motors with same tyres on i was left spinning my sack of ,and discovery was going through the mud no bother ,best thing about shoguns is comfort and thats about it?and it would cost you alot more to do this to a shogun than it would my discovery take alook round mate ,the 200 is more reliable, than 300 has there prone to head gasket problems?the best thing about discoverys is there easy to get parts for one live live it !!
  20. a grand day out been a short season ,we only started seeing woodcock in any numbers mid january a bit late for some good sport ,we had and ok year the partridge we put down went off to the sunset we still have about a dozen hanging round out of the 60 put down but it was an experience with them cheers rob
  21. hello mate just made the purchase me self sold the series 3 i had and bought a 3 door disco 200tdi i do like it but the series would probably go off road better ,i looked the tinterweb try HERE AND HERE LIL BIT MORE al ot to look thru but just keep your money in your pocket if your not sure dont rush in thinking its the only one out there try egay have a look at some local ones go have a proper look , heres mine

WELL overandunder they are nice peice of kit british made ithink but here comes the but everyone has the preference when it comes to jackets i got a sportchief for about the same price think it was a little cheaper tis a really good jacket but a little bit long , waterproof and windproof , probably the same as the kammo , but for me now its goretex and thinsulate lining just got one from cabelas in the usa but its the bomber style so your rse gets bit cold and yes my bum does look big in it ,but ithink you will do ok with the kammo last one i seen waswell made cheers rob
  24. i took this today from my motor he was on the prowl spying for some food ,what got me he was nowhere near a river or stream to get fish it just was a trickle in the field ,maybe some small food source there
