    hello zap the small shoot i am in had some partridge last year we only got 50 and built a small pen for them on another part of the shoot very flighty too as pj says a net top is very important the fantastic at vertical take off and landing we onl;y shot a couple of those 50 the rest just followed the sun never to be seen again

    i alway cast to them as they some times have other fish around them ...john i always cast in there direction if i see them swimming about just on the off chance one day i will have one

    they done well , i still not caught a golden me self they always seem to be not feeding or if you cast towards them they turn away fussy feeders me thinks it is a nice size one tho

    yeah me and woodga bought the lightforce lamps from deako last year at lowther a good price too and good people to deal with , a few others could learn from them

    well saturday was the day we had the competition me v me bro and well yes i well truly stuffed , i even said about his flys you will never catch nowt on them peices of sh~t ,and take my foot out me mouth i caught all six to joes 10 on his flys ,it was a good day bright but windy not the best fishing conditions but we done ok with some blues and rainbows but the goldens proved too much they just dont seem to be in the mood to take but it does not stop you trying targeting them with the fluff anyway a great day was had by all heres a few to peruse
