  2. ok heres how it goes got to woodgas 8.30 we took 34 frozen ones out the freezer drove 40 mile took these pics came home :11: the end :whistle: ok then heres the truth a fine morning greeted us today a cold morning with the moon still high in the sky ( i poet i is :11: ) we arrived up in the valleys with glorious sunshine more like august than october a good breeze blowing ,but its just great being back out ferreting , some good sets with ,there is still a lot running about the reeds still not cold enough to put them to ground we did really well with some good bolts f

    yeah a good few here in the north east as i said before there is a lot of berries around this year be it sloes hips hawes rowan elderberry it just seems a big crop all round ,they say its going to be a hard winter if the crop is large probably just an old wives tale but i have heard it said quite a few times cheers rob and yes my sloe gin is under way shaking it every other day the bottle that is

  21. i was down the shoot am in on saturday looking at the crop of sloes just hope no one gets in there first heres what they looking like on another note is it just me or is there a bumper harvest on berries this year here in the north east there is loads hawthorn ,holly ,rowan ,sloes ,rose hips elderberry it seems there is more round this year than for many years anyone else seen the same just tell me if its because am getting old and noticing things more :11:
