The arabs that bought the dogs have got more money than sense , All English bred racehorses are descended from 4 Arabian bred thoroughbreds but the Gadolphins and the Makdhoums like to in mport English stock because they can Go to the saluki Centre in ABu Dhabi the guy who runs it is the Arab equivalent of Hancock but you will not find one cross or any English stock in his kennels The lines that go bacl literally hundreds if not thousands of years dont import stock simple. the ones that are being brought in are by the idiots who like to course in 4x4,s and wouldnt know a good dog if it bit t

1000 metres on a track cannot be compared to a 1000 metres out on the land or on sand or shale and certainly it was not done trying to course quarry you are making ridiculous comparisons you made one of man running a 4 minuter mile and asked how far a dog could run in 4 minutes a marathon runner can run 26 miles in 2and a quater hours a husky 2would run it but not a coursing dog.. its horses for courses as far as I see, 1.3 miles out on plough or seed always assuming you could find land of that size without obstructions and a hound behind a long ear would be some course you see a few 4/5/6

We were out Sunday around the West Midlands , usually a few about not big numbers but enough for a bit of sport. We were out for 8 hours and covered a fair bit of land putting 200 miles on the clock for the round trip we saw 2 of the long eared variety , some fields plough stubble, seed even one or two recently cut as well as beet fiels but nothing we did see Buzzards sitting in the fields and the hedges these must have accounted for a fair few leverets that was our conclusion . Certainly the land we are visiting numbers are well down at the minute on last year

I have spent my life with them and would run them against any dogs in uk or ireland there are dogs and dogs are they better than your dogs now of just he same if theyre using greyhounds I them Any Coo saluki breeder worth thier salt keeps them pure, the Arabs who are into gambling try to introduce x,s to try to increase speed not seen a greyhound or lurcher here yet that could run for 2 km which is a short jog for most decent pures in thier homelands.. I have seen Coo that are very fast and over distances more than 750/800 metres would piss on any track greyhound. The terrain and the wea

if there is a will there is a way. The arguments which are better Coo,s or uk and x breds is irrelevant people should utalise and try to improve on what they have. The impression that Coos are slower is based on a few videos on Youtube a fast dog is a fast dog a fast clever dog tailors its running style to its quarry and the land and weather conditions. One thing I have come to realise is that many a potentially good coursing dog has been f**ked up by a divvy on the other end of the slip or breeding shite stock in order to grip money or they try to put a name up in lights over night. Lines an

Perhaps the air ambulance should be better employed for the benefit of the sick and injured and also the Lincolnshire Police commisioner take notice of the three comments inciting physical violence and encouraging the use of vicious dogs to attack people for carrying out a country pursuit thousands of years old. The police budget must be to big, to allow the use of helicopters police vehicles and manpower to catch a man catching a few rabbits nice to see they have4 thier priorities right,

Europe is supposed to be open borders but you are not allowed to cross a county line into Lincolnshire or Cambridge
