Some people on this site seriously need to catch themselves on! The man was only asking a question!!! Why is everyone so PARANOID????? is it such a bad thing to say that you happen to like a certain type of bull in your lurcher?? Do you really think if someone said "my dog has some pitbull in him" that the cops are going to knock their door?? Alot of people on here need to wise up and maybe some people can learn stuff and enjoy the forum a bit more!

Just back and no joy, wasn't expecting to see them but better going and looking than wondering and not going. Your right about knowing what they came for, the left all the cover dogs and took all the lurchers and the terrier! Absolute scum!!

Here's mine he started in September and he turned two in October. I got him at 17 or 18 months so had to wait all summer to try him. wasn't too sure what he'd be like as he seemed to be very nervous and if you seen or met him you wouldn't think he had the drive, very very easy going dog! How wrong was i lol he's done me proud every time, and he has improved every time he's got a kill which i was really surprised about. He's got an serious hatred for foxes! So far so good and i hope he keeps it up. Next season will be his big test! First 2 pics are from last thurs and the second two showed

we mainly use springers and springer crosses for doing the covers and flushing to the lurchers. All bark when their on. Our own one will bark at anything she comes across, fox, rabbit, hare or cats. All the dogs were bread form parents doing the same thing but with everything some are good and some aren't.

Did u ever just have that feeling? took the dogs out a walk at half six, to the local park. i took the lamp with me to check a few fields after, i just had a feeling that i'd get one! Went into the first field, slipped at a rabbit sitting at the hedge and the dog missed, mainly just to give him a run to calm him down. as i walked out of the field the eyes meet me from the next field. started calling him in, couldn't believe how close he came, easily within 20ft. the dog was waiting for the slip, i let him go to start a brilliant course, about 6 or 7 turns and he got nailed I was only out jus

i have a 3 qtr bred dog mate for foxing big strong dog! wer boouts you in northern ireland? From the Gilford area ,wat about urself ? is your irish terrier cross your own breeding. My old dog's 7 now he's 3/4 greyhound 1/4 Irish Terrier & i have a 1/2 Irish Terrier cross bitch and a pup outa them at 2 1/2 yrs old & the young bitch is showing great signs at the coursing.. Thanks! Hes definitely getting better every time, and he just gets angrier when he gets bit! Its amazing the natural hatred they have of them! We done one cover were i got one 3 weeks ago but i give someone else the spot were i was and he missed a sitter. i was the other side of the stream watching the fox run away Another ran out near the top of the field so i said fook it and threw the dog over after him, he started chasing it an i thought he might get it before it gets across the field but one of the cover dogs ran out and he ran towards it! i shit myself thinking he'd lift the dog lol He

some of them rabbits looked massive! class pics! i must get meself a good camera for the action shots! the land there looks amazing aswell, your dogs must be seriously fit to run up and down them hills!

The post is an update on the dog, its about the dog not me! i didn't catch the fox the dog did!! if you have read my other posts, which it sounds like you have., then you'll know how i got the dog, the risks i took on taking it on and that it has just started its working life! Theres only so much of "show us your bull crosses" or "heres my dog, what do yous think" threads someone can take! Heres a thread which shows a dog working and tells you how hes getting on over the weeks. You cant tell me that not more interesting to read!! i enjoy
