    we do all different kinds, alot of wind bushes and conifer plantations. the 1st and 3rd came out of wind bushes and the 2nd came out of willows. The springers all scream there heads off when there on but you cant beat sitting waiting and hearing the big hound!! there is some racket in the plantations when they all go together

    Springers, springer crosses and a big hound. He only got two, the 3rd photo is his second aswell. First one was this years cubs and the second was an old one. Both vixens.

    Started doing covers again on sunday. We got 3 in total with my dog getting two. These were only his 2nd and 3rd foxes so im buzzing at the minute! 1st one give him some stick but he seemed to be alot angrier when he hit the second one. You could tell that he learnt a bit from the 1st one by his strike and how he killed the second even if he did get bit again with this one. Really happy with him doing two on his own 1st time out in the day. Hope he keeps it up! P.s Mods if your going to take this down please have the decency to tell me why this time!

    look at the pic on the right, looks like charlie boy sneakin away out of the cover behind the person lol lol, gutted not]. As you notice the end results arent posted! And there were 3 people in that direction ferreting,so your observartions arent spot on, or i would have been really pissed off, lol, nice one. Happy days then! good result

    i use racer on my dogs and there in great nic! i was told that changing meal is good for them every few months so i tried it. one of the dogs started to lose hair on his back legs, been back on racer now for about 2 or 3 weeks and the hair is nearly back to how it was! they get racer everyday but also get raw meat about 4 or 5 time a weeks. i thnk its good stuff!

    i've been using the fox caller my hand and some on the phone and cant get any of them near me!!! there is a lot of lampers around my area but you think that there would be on stupid enough to come and say hello to the dog haha

    Sorry Brun, I dont mean to offend you in any way, with my write up.We dont race ourselves, just show. I just get the results of the racing and include them in my write up.To me results are great, and if your dog had won I would compliment you in the same way and feel proud to do so.But most importantly you are entitled to your views and comments which I dont get involved in, but I fully respect them. im not offended in any way and i enjoy reading your write ups. but i have to call things how i seen them. as you can probably tell im still not happy with how it went on Sat but this has

    Theres nothing wrong with the racing in my eyes as it keeps the dog fit all summer. We have a single handed 5/8th fox dog - a proper lurcher - and racing these dogs that are breed to to race was hard. the majority look like full hounds, or as close as you can get. at the races this year we've had 4 2nd's and a 3rd, this time he was leading from the start and with 50 yrds to go the man operating the lure ruined his race. To think we put all the work into him getting him ready and for someone to ruin like that is sickening!!!

    there was a good turn out during the day but when it came to the races there was hardly any people there. there was only 3 dogs in the overs and about 5 in the unders. The man operating the lure ruined it! the first dogs nearly caught it and then the big dogs nearly caught it which allowed the winner to gain on the leading dog and take the race by a head and the unders race had to be run 3 times because the dogs kept catching it! it was an absolute joke! Edited to say that quite a good bit must have been raised so it wasn't all bad.
