  1. as dicehorn says, i think everyone who reloads for the first time is nervous, i reload .243 using 85 gr sierra bullets, federal or hornady brass, cci large rifle primers, also varget powder in 36.4gr with good results, but if your at the start range and not the max for the powder give it a go then tell us about it.
  2. if the lamp is 6v then it should run for about 90mins constant, check to see whether it's 6 or 12v if its 12v your wasting your time
  3. northallerton shooting supplies in north yorks always have plenty in stock
  4. try the hornady ammo it's a lot better, 58gr and 95 gr have very little change in poi through my .t3 hunter in .243, no need to rezero for either, federal 85 gr are also good in mine, 100grs not very good in any make of ammo hope it helps, but as others have said bed it in
  5. if it's a floating barrel, try sliding a piece of paper along to make sure it's not catching anywhere if it is try slackening the screws off a half turn, then tighten them alternating each screw and keep trying the paper along the barrel to make sure it's still free floating
  6. no no notches is either cylinder or skeet as ss says if five is cylinder, then 0 is skeet or the other way round ,
  7. the dimmer switches are already fitted to the lamp, on the back

The more common faults depending on the model appear to be the blow plugs not lasting long....apart from fuel consumption cant say there has been much hassle with mine. What's a BLOW PLUG !

  15. the lee aniversery kit is a good place to start ,cheap, every thing you need to get started except the dies, just order them when you know what you want ie .223,.243 etc, some people will say get better gear but why until you know weather your going to stick to it, lee gear does the job ,if you can afford it get extra presses at about £22 each saves setting your dies up evey time
