  1. they did charge once, and we had nothing but moaning members saying it wasent fair that they couldent sell stuff unless they had donated their £5 a year, either way, we cant win it's not rocket science, if something looks to good to be true, it normally is so dont even go there next, look how many post's the seller has made, look into there posts and topics, thats another good indication of them ask other members to verifi them
  2. stubby you do sometimes come across as up your own arse... the bloke has asked a pretty good question and someone may have a bloody good answer how do we all learn if we dont look for better ways of looking after the ferts all the best in finding a answer phill and you come across as a knob Im all for giving sound advice which I did, Im not a lover of sticking all sorts of lotions/potions/pesticides etc on a ferret, when a few minutes handling will show a tick and have it removed, relying on a "spray" also gives people the option of "not having to check the ferts today".
  3. easy enough to just check and remove ticks daily, saves relying on "products" to do the job
  4. was the mating to closely related?
  5. where's the biscuits seriously, just relax, mine asked why I wanted a shotgun, told him humane control of live caught foxes (trapped) I told him I hadent bought a cabinet as I wanted to ask his advice on placement location, he told me no problem, he told me about not to drink and drive, as that could get the cert taken away from you, ie not a responsable person, he said about transporting the gun etc, and that was about it, everything else was just general chatting, as I showed him to the door he said Id have my cert within 2 weeks, and to then buy a shotgun, and he'd then come b
  6. why could'ent you be nearer
  7. nice bird, but needs a price to stay here
  8. although not from england, check this post out by steve albamo http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...t&p=1149869 if your runs are very close to the surface, his traps may work for you
  9. you make me laugh, you have already said that most died on saturday, two days before you posted the question, someone replies and quite rightly suggests getting the dead ones to a vet/post mortem in case its a virus, but thats not good enough for you you think members should have given you an exact explanation to the deaths, and because they havent, your gonna sulk and not post on here again, as thats a waste of your time, by all means let me know and I'll be quite happy to deleate your account maybe if you had read up/researched ferrets a bit more, you would know these problems are not
  10. thats a bloody good dog you have mate, well patient with the ferts
  11. dont expect good results too soon, some ferts dont show good rabbiting skills till the following season
  12. there will still be signs on the fence itself, grease marks, fur etc, either above or below the bottom bar, you need to look more closely and find where they are coming through, otherwise you would need to snare above and below the bottom rail, on every opening, = lots of wasted snares and time
  13. my dog had a mole....but the vet removed it sorry could'ent resists
  14. needs a price to stay here
  15. another way, if the leather either side of transmitter is good, is to simply cut the transmitter off, leaving an inch of leather either side, and then stitch/rivet on top of a new collar
  16. our veg patch needs digging over
  17. That's a strange term for a hunter to use isn't it?? I normally mince my 'Victims' for dog and ferret food. was going to say the same thing, using the word VICTIM, makes them sound very "anti" or is that just me, as for "biggest waste", just shows they know nothing, as the whole rabbit is used to feed the ferts, skin off for dog food or our use, but then skin/fur would not account for the biggest amount
  18. it does say essex, but I'll add "grays" in thurrock for you all
