  1. Ill close this post now, as it seems to have gone off track on the dead rabbit post, every member has the right to report a post, the mods could not see a problem with the nature of the picture, but were concerned on the size, and in future, anyone using such a large signiture picture, will be asked to remove it, so lets end it there
  2. but it goes a long way with landowners, if you try to help, do a search on here, you'll find plenty of topics on moles, may not make you the greatest molecatcher on earth, but being helpfull goes a longway, and it may secure you extra permissions via word of mouth
  3. sorry I mised ya mate, had some scumy chavs try breaking in, luckerly the dogs must of scared them enough to leave empty handed, so me and the missus are on patrol armed to the teeth
  4. I'll give you a shout later, if your on, around 5pm, whats your score?, have you prestiged yet? dont want you showing me up

  8. as can be seen by the posts, theres two roads of thought here, either stolen or escaped escape; ferrets are born escape artists, our daughter has 2 pet ferts in the house in large cage, 2 locks each door, yet one still managed to get out so if kept in hutches in the garden, hasp and staple with a good padlock saves any tears stolen; as stated, dont be too free giving out your address, or too trustworthy, if meeting members from here, either meet at a point half way, or dont go ferreting with people local to you,
  9. stick it up to your nose and have a good sniff, then ask yourself, would you eat it  you'll have your answer if the blood is very dark, its been dead a while, still red is fresh
  10. they are asking, if you are "bull russell" from jack's shed forum, I think you are, as firstly, if you wer'nt, then why not ask all these questions on that forum, rather than starting an identical one on this forum, secondly, a picture, posted by "bullrussell" is also now posted by yourself, saying that its you set up if I remember rightly, a now banned member, was asking identical questions, in an identical post, only a month or so ago
  11. I'd be careful with your spelling, unless your trying to tell us something
  12. got mine from killgerm, £15 but Im sure you'll find cheaper
  13. FOR ATTENTION OF, as in FAO mr moocher
  14. as your thinking of doing this in oz, surely better for you to put the question to them via an australian forum, after all, what works here, may not there, plus they may have different certification
  15. probably shoots them, so you tend to find they dont want much feeding or sex after that
  16. digital cameras need good quaility batteries in them, if there cheap ones, the turn themselves off good catch though

  18. of course, w'ell stick a broom up our arse's and sweep the floor too, we dont put "no text talk" it is auto changed on most words that dont make sense I'll throw it back at you and say, it would make our lives so much easier, if everyone used proper queens english
  19. its when someone has posted a for sale post, that has then, over a day or two, gone to the 2nd or 3rd page, thus posting a reply "bump" under it, brings it to the top front page, highly against forum rules, and if done more often than once a week, risks the post being deleated, and the member receiving a warning
  20. mk1 or mk3, if its a mk3, then yes, Ive done the same for my large hobs, just use a terrier mk3 collar, the locator bit is exactally the same, only the collar differs in length, a ferret one is 200mm a terrier one is 400mm, mine is cut down to around 300mm and more holes put in
  21. ferreting in winter, is far better early morning, otherwise the time will come when your digging in the dark
  22. depends where you read it, a pet ferret book, or one from usa may give that sort of advice, but Ive only every fed once a day, since I was a nipper, and way back when, I used to only feed 6 out of 7 days
  23. a good cure, is a hammer
  24. I dont know him from adam, but who's the ugly fecker on the right
  25. how much are you feeding daily, as an example to determin if your feeding too much, when mine get dry, and nothing else, they get 13 small palm fulls of dry, for 13 ferrets, all together in the court, fed once nightly, or one whole rabbit nightly between all of them
