almost got one today! was well chuffed.was walking down the side of a dried up stream and my dog chased one into a rat hole.the dogs wer digging to him and i could hear him spitting and hissing like a little snake lol.thought i had him. got well excited but he was just to fast.darted from one of the holes and straight into a patch of brambles where they lost him.wasnt too sad though,just happy to ALMOST get one because i dont see many at all.

thanks a lot martin.ye it is hard lol.ill have to find [bANNED TEXT] soon who i can tag along with or get some permission.up to now i just get a few rats in a small stream near some old game crop.thats the only place thats really decent.and im not allowed on there.dont mean to sound untrustwothy but where else can i go.its either risk it to get a few rats and carry on working my dogs or let them sit in the house all day.and thats worse.i go alone all the time cos no1 round here is "into" dogs really.ill just have to be patient and hopefully it will pay off .(iv been thinking that for 3 years l

then "you thinks wrong" im no crap stirrer pal just someone who doesnt like blasting holes in the side of animals with a high power gun! id rather take years to actually try an enter a dog to quarry rather than get some permission and spend my savings on a gun.but then again if i got a gun woudn't i get more "SPORT" .i mean "slaughter" toodle pip. sambo123

i posted a topic yesterday before me and my mate went out called "just after the rain" asking whether you would see more or less owt when its raining or just after.WELL turns out its right! or a coincidence. we walked down the side of the field ( at the side of the game crop) and dug to 4 rats on the walk down.another two where killed out inthe open by my mates pup (they were its 2nd and third rats).when we got to the bottom of the field my terrier gyp caught a rabbit in some brambles and on the walk home the dogs disapeared into a huge bramble patch.we thought it was a rabbit again but afte

good post that mate.again ill say it but im 16 years old and iv seen three foxes in my life.the boys that go out on the mass slaughter f*kin piss me off.my little brother asked me what colour a fox is the other day and i thought to myself that thats tellin us something.it takes 2 fe*kin minutes to blast a foxes brain out and think your good.but it takes years of determination to tell a dog what it needs to do.im relatively scared of firearms.and thats a good state in my mind. sam

went for a quick walk today with mi mates.-- got four rats- some pics. oh yeah and we found a ferret down a rat hole so that helped a bit lol free ferret( it was a jill)
