    Had a theoben Sirroco in .22, And that was a Beast, loved the thump of the Gas Ram, And as accurate as any springer I've used. But Part Ex 'd it for the Rapid MK 2, So still staying with Theoben for PCP, and for my Springer the Sexy HW 97 KT Synthetic. regards Daz.

    Nice one Simon, I was also abit bemused with a muzzle brake and what people thought they actually did, As most of us Older Lads know the Airgun Mags are full of Shite!!!!!!. Some of there so called Airgun Expert writers in my Opinion i wouldn't trust using a Gat Pistol. regards Daz

    Hope both companys can get back to there best, Had both makes of Springers as a Kid Webley Victor & Vulcan, BSA Air sporter, But wouldn't touch the Modern stuff load of Dog Turd. Thats why i'm sticking with HW or Air arms for Springers And for my PCP a Theoben Rapid a Design thats 20 yrs old but tried and tested updated British Quality. '' Except for the Walther Match Grade Barrel" Well the Gemans are about the best at that. regards Daz.

    Nice shooting Bud, Picturesque Permission you have Matey, And that Rapid Keeps winking at me can't wait for mine to arrive. Keep buying bits & bobs off Flea bay for it, Got both add on adaptor Rails from Dr bob the Weaver @ Dove tail, a Slide out single shot pellet tray from the good old USA for when i do HFT, Ant them Versa Pod Bi Pods keep tempting Me.. regards Daz.

    Yummy .50 cal, Was so lucky to fire the Browning .50 cal on 2 range days Whilst being in the Military !!!!!!!!! Proper gun porn went through 200 rounds by my self an experience i'll take to my Grave. The British Army The Best of the Best. Regards Daz.

    I know how you feel Wurz, I ordered a Left hand action and stock Rapid MK 2 on the 28/02/2011, Been told i'll either get it this week or next, Due to match grade barrel still stuck in Lother Walther Gun factory in Germany. Gutted for you mate especially when yuo get your Heart set on it. regards Daz.

    Yes Simon i remember my SLR with Starlight Scope in Bandit country, That had a bit of Heft, to but Nothing like the Gimpy.. Looks to much like a Toy Gun !!!!!! Should have done it in Black, Like the stock tho. regards Daz

    So my coaching has paid off a bit then Told you you'd get the hang of it and want more!! Darryl Your right Darryl got the airgun Bug again and thanks again for your help, your a proper Gent., Just waiting for my Rapid to arrive!!!! Rapid is ready but my Walther match grade barrel still stuck in Germany till next week.. Then Matey hopefully be able to give you top lads a run at the next meet with Three and a half months of practice under my belt.. atb Daz

    Same for me mate no permission at the Moment, So joined local Airgun Club, Except their Plinking and Zeroe range only go out to 55 yrds, so when its quite i put some pop bottle tops out to 60,65 & 70 yards, to get up to Simon & Andys Standard of Spring rifle shooting !!!!! 70 yards at the Moment abit hit & miss due to open field after the 60+ mark, more wind blowing affecting pellet accuracy at bottle tops.. Hope your chest clears up matey and you get out to shoot soon.. Regards Daz

    I have a HW 97 KT, Perfect weight for a Springer also use to own a TX MK 2, As Davey States Non Noodle Arms Air Rifles, Kidding a side !!!!!! As Simon states with the proper support in the Prone or Kneeling position a joy to Shoot. Going off topic try Lugging a GPMG 7.62mm with 200 rounds of belt fed ammo and full kit around with you now thats a heavy weapon But also so sexy to Shoot. Regards Daz

    That's very Kind of you Simon, Comments like that are appreciated but i know i can do better!!!!! When i can hit a one pence piece at 60 yards like i use to do with my TX M2 Consistently in my mind i'll have regained my Marksman Cross Rifles. Regards Daz.

    Superb write up again Simon, Andy & Yourself are some of the best role models for New Shooters starting out with springers, Proves with skill and alot of practice you can outshoot most PCP Shooters and match some of the best with a recoiling Rifle. I'm not yet up to that standard yet but with alot more practice i will endeavour to get there,I can now hit the small Spinners about the size of a two pence piece @ 55 yards consistantly, so need to push abit further now with my Deadly HW 97 KT the Modern day HW 77..     Nice one simon . I have a 1985 77K here and a MK2 Webley Vulcan but they're both in that Girly .22 calibre . joking the part I must say shooting the springers does bring back the feeling of a real gun that hits me in the shoulder . I quite fancy them AA prosports! but I'm a lefty and would have to have a special order, I would much prefer a Ambi stock if I can get one so my lad could use it. atb Jasp I remember it well Al! the stealth looks a nice well built rugged peice of kit, a proper keepers gun.     Hi mate same here, My 13yr old Daughter wants to come shooting, She's shot my HW 97 KT in the back garden, Garden is 78 ft long with a proper back stop, But Gun is to heavy as she's Slight of Frame 7 stone pissed wet through!!!!! So now she wants me to buy an Air Arms S200 for her, But it will have to wait due to the Impending delivery of the Rapid But will take her soon to my local Airgun club to see if she likes it first!!!! As with all kids they soon get bored. But on the plus side if she get's bored i get an S200, Result. Regards Daz
