    this dog was bred saluki x greyhound first cross put to a collie x greyhound been on before but was a top all rounder h/r/f/d day and night wish i still had him now atb troter

    a good lamping dog needs to be used with a good lamp man and work as a team dont matter what cross seen 30 inch dogs make it look easy and small dogs that hoover them up it is all about how they are brought on a lot think it is point the lamp and slip the dog theres a lot more to it it takes a well train dog to fill a good bag of rabbits imo atb troter

    i ran lurchers on hare no salukie in there breeding on the fens and moorland and round cheshire the dogs we used were deerhound based but were only good for 3/4 runs and that is slipping at no more than 25 yards we had some great times but soon got in to the salukie cross there the best dog for coursing hare diffrent class atb

    i have lived in manchester all my life as kids we hunted the old slag heaps from the local pits and same as bosun we would get the bus to bolton moors with the dogs or the train got plenty funny looks did that till 17/18 then got a old car morris minor van the world was our oyster travelled all over the country in that van i think if you have the drive to get out with the dogs it dont matter were you live still live in the city and there is a good few young lads in to the lurchers doing what we did and good luck to them atb

    still young at 7 months mate wait till the dog as matured a bit more you have loads of time it is not a race to enter it let the dog see other dogs working but i would be letting it start work at 10/12 months on the bunnies with the ferrets atb
