Fishaben you need a really sharp knife to fillet successfully.I tried looking around some catering suppliers and some filleting knives were very expensive.The one I bought and use regularly is from my local fishing tackle shop made by Rapala only cost about £17. Ruby

FK What do you want your straw for? is it not possible to use shavings instead, it works out cheaper to buy vacume packed shavings from a saddlers than loose straw from a pet shop. Ruby

Full fish salmon etc are good poached in water,white wine,green peppercorns,bay leaves,chives,butter and a couple of slices of lemon.Completely cover and seal the container and contents with foil. Cook slowly for an hour or so until fish comes away easily from the bone. Ruby

LOL Know what you mean about pulling your arms off.Was doing some grassland management last year and riding a quad for 8 hrs and more a day over some rough terrain chain harrowing etc sure took its toll on the shoulders.Had a yamaha DT 125 and a benelli in my younger days. Ruby

Had a compound fracture of the femur on one of my bullx's it shattered nearly 5" of bone near to the hip socket it needed 3 operations putting pins and wire in and took 6 months before she could work again.She barely limps now unless she is stiff and I was only charged £600. Ruby

Shout if you will, but that just won't do. I for one would rather follow softer options. I'll take the easy line, another a sip of wine, and if I ignore the face you wore it's just a way of mine to keep from flying colours.
