  1. Not so much a kennel now one 13 yo old but still fullyfit Golden dog, A gordon setter dog, a golden retriever bitch and a pup. Had a dog pup from your lines, he was a very early starter, very biddable and easily trained, possibly the easiest I've ever owned. Got an eight month old pup at the minute called after him, unfortunately that's the only similiarity, but we'll get there.
  2. Giardia, google it, pretty common when the dogs drinking from shitty ponds and waterways is a possibility, if it is worm him out with panacur.
  3. Mileage mate?. Sure that's the right price?. Any vat?
  4. And your letting folk know this out the goodness of your heart are you?.
  5. I'm entering a plea of insanity your honour, I'm bananas, might try that.
  6. things are looking rosier already...... f**k alls changed mate. You must be easily pleased lol. things are looking rosier already...... f**k alls changed mate. You must be easily pleased lol. The change in the attitude of the other party leaders in itself makes things better imo, and no I'm not easy pleased but it's a start. The fact that ukip is on the rise and biting at their heels will keep the bstards on their toes and will in effect have a bearing on their actions, Im pretty sure they won't be treating Joe average with the same disdain they did with in the run up to th
  7. I'll say this, I hear people saying I'm not voting nothing will change etc, but it's blatantly obvious and there for all to see, the change in the attitude of the politicians from the main parties is remarkable after the success ukip have just had. I actually think things are looking rosier already and not just because of ukips policies and plans (they might not work) but because the stranglehold of the main parties has been loosened and hopefully will be loosened further in the future. I'd also say with success comes confidence and I've always thought Farage was underestimated but he's on a r
  8. It will be all "protest vote this" "protest vote that" At least they will know we ARE protesting, it has to be a step in the right direction. it will shape there policy to some degree, so that has to be a good thing, its sad that they didn`t already know what the feelings were in the country but then again i supose untill any sort of election is due, it doesn`t really matter to them It will be all "protest vote this" "protest vote that" At least they will know we ARE protesting, it has to be a step in the right direction. it will shape
  9. A blind man could see a smear campaign coming, there will be an army of folk desperately dissecting every ukip member, candidate and proposal. That's a good thing, tells us the big parties have really got the wind up their sails. Does make you wonder how far they would go to discredit ukip. Watch this space, the big three don't like it when the masses take an interest and start questioning their motives and policies. As for the nazi salute, I wouldn't give a feck if Farage turned out to be Hitlers illegitimate son, I'd still vote for him before any of the other mob.
  10. You can have what I would call an all round gundog, dogs that do all the OP requires and more, but some breeds will be better at some tasks than others as that is their main job. It's a bit like the all round lurcher scenario. Pick a breed that excels and is purpose bred for the job it's most likely to be doing, chances are it'll do everything else as well just not as well as dogs bred for those tasks. I try and keep it simple regarding dogs, there's a reason most shoots you turn up to that the majority of dogs are labs and springers and has been like that for years.
  11. Fecking grow a set and ditch the bitch. Also, all the talk of going round and firing into the guy, why?, he's only there by invite I'd hazard a guess there's few on here been that guy. Another thing, the guy in question might not even know you exist, whatever, shouldn't matter get rid.
  12. They've got you well brainwashed. If you don't believe any of the lying b*****ds you've just to take part in there system anyway and round and round the merry go goes...... I wish everyone who says they hate politicians etc had the balls no not vote any of them in, then we'd see real change. But while folk vote, nothing will change. They've got you well brainwashed. Ditto, what have we said about taking everything serious, I really need to track the smiley faces down, they must make the difference. In all fairness though, he spells it better than some folk say it.

...the lamb's still been eaten... Aye, but now we know all about weimeranas and labs. . . . so that's handy. Not quite, it's weimaraners.
  15. Something don't ring true here, if he met you in a years time he could never have identified the bitch, I'd have hunted him to fcuk never mind tracked him down and told him I had her. I smell shit.

Ok guys, one more post, lab, the fat lab post was a stab at humour, guess that's the curse of the internet, you sit chuckling to yourself whilst you type, but its not perceived as funny when it hits the screen. This was never a bigging up weimaraner thread, it just kind of got sidetracked, I can fully understand why folks would doubt their capabilities because the majority of them are useless. I'm certainly not promoting them as a fox dog or trying to convert the masses to owning them, I doubt my own sanity with regards to owning them regurarly. Mines do what I said, but then I spend a lot of

Love it, you need to have an opinion so bad you bloody googled weimaraner. Oh and if the spend hours justifying their opinion was aimed at me, then could I draw your attention to your post tally, or is it a family account?. Anyway I'm done, this is going nowhere.

Well mate i'm the same as Borderscot....ive said my opinion. I jokingly said "Have to catch it first" and i recieved a few snippy comments. Not that i worry about that i'm happy to debate stuff. Now these GSP and weimaraners that you have seen...? Theyve coursed and killed foxes have they? Cheers... I'm not taking about retrieving...my big dog does that as a wee party piece on shoot day.... You're entitled to your opinion mate like anyone else, as for snidey comments, look no further than you're previous posts, do you think my pets could catch a fox, maybe. Now I may be reading it wro

Your first sentence, " straight lined a fox would leave your gundogs in the dust....fact" says the rest of your post is pish and you seen none or at best a couple of pets on a walk out pre ban. A high post tally don't make you an expert mate. bull mate if they could straight out run and take foxes .............they would be used for lamping.......... not doubting your dogs dont bump, into them ..........but most foxes would out run them ..........my guess is that you have taken a few and you have got a little excited trying to make out they would take fox out in the open ground......no chan

They'd have to catch it first.... No problem there mate, it's not fat labs we're talking about. ....Stick a pic up of these coursing machines....ive never seen a skinny one.. They'd have to catch it first.... No problem there mate, it's not fat labs we're talking about. ....Stick a pic up of these coursing machines....ive never seen a skinny one.. Reading your posts it's fair to say you consider yourself to be knowledgable where gundogs (or is it just labs) are concerned. A weimaraner is hardly a coursing machine, but, let me get this right, are y

Put some pictures up of what exactly?. Might add you've also declined to answer the question regarding experience of weimaraners, to be fair though I think you answered it on your injured dog thread when you said weren't an out and out hunter, I'll take that as no experience.

Mate, mines aren't blue and I would be reluctant to call them beautiful, as for tying their legs in knots, yes some foxes could bob and weave, I've seen foxes tie many a good lurcher in knots on occasions. I'm a bit confused here, when you consider a lot of lurchers used for fox are often bull bred and heavier built not unlike a weimaraner, then why would you think said weimaraner wasn't capable of retrieving them. A quick question to yourself and fat lab lad, how many weimaraners from working lines being used for the job they were bred for have you walked out with?.

What was the farmer saying to that lot then???? I actually thought he would have been more upset mate but I think with all the other shit and problems just now, poor lambing, lack of grass and the weather it's just one more problem.
