    Hi j.w. Lost my own whippet during the summer because of something similar. Was out giving him a run in the evening and he got his leg slashed right on his wrist. Cut all the nerves and tendons right through. Couldn't be fixed as it would never fully heal and he would never run again. Hope yours makes a full recovery. Atb j.

    This cross doesn't seem to get much bigger than a strong whippet. With this cross did ye find that ye lost any of the whippets speed. Atb j

Atb j Bread pudding was made with bread which was 'past it's best', it was left to soak in either water or milk with sugar and ground mixed spice (cinnamon, coriander, cloves, pimento, nutmeg and ginger) and dried mixed fruit added (currants, raisins, sultanas, peel etc) and left to infuse and for the fruit to plump up a bit. The whole lot is 'mushed' together and it is put into a buttered baking tray and baked in the oven, with some more sugar sprinkled over the top. There was no definitive recipe as

    seen the whole jam making kit in aldi for sale last week.Nice set up. Atb j I just boil them up with some suger and them mash them but it goes off after a week or so i must not be doing it right but its lovly all the same and like you i freeze some to make it last i must try it with some apple pal.

    Do you make your own jam peterhunter86. You can't beat homemade jam. We add apple to the blackberries. We make enough and freeze some. Its nice around the xmass time. Atb j
