  3. Was looking at a 3\4 staff 1\4 patt x full springer earlier. Both parents working well in thick cover. Was thinking one of these pups would be worth a go. Anyone have any experience with this type of busher. Atb j.
  4. As jigsaw said some of these people were forced in the order. I know my neighbour was when he was young. He didn't want to go at all but had no choice. That's the way it was then. He was a priest in some other country and meet a nun that was also forced in the order as well. They left the church got married and moved back here. Nicer people you couldn't meet. His family disowned him after that. The church still holds a certain amount of power here still. Atb j
  5. You could plant a nice orchard and some different type of fruit trees for cider and wine making. Also a couple of bee hives maybe. Atb j.

  10. Hi all. My 19 year old son has a interest in going working on the oil or gas rigs. I know that some members on here does that for a living and was wondering would any one be able to tell me what type of courses, tickets or education he would need. And where would be the best place to go and do these things. Any help would be well appreciated. Atb j.

  15. Did you see the parson russell x lake land pups on. The parents are working stock. They look handy going by the pics. Atb with the search. J.
  16. Rayldiniho. Just to let you know that I went through the whole system today and couldn't find anything wrong with it. So on that note I started with a small fire and built it up slowly. You were right. I was fireing it to much to fast. There wasn't even a whisper from it and heated lovely. Thanks for your help. Atvb j.
  17. Hi rayldiniho. Thanks for that info. I think that you are right about fireing up the range too fast. I have a thermostat right on the pipe coming our of the back just above the boiler set at 50 and the pump is not that far from it. Once it clears it's self it's fine for the rest of the day. As I said things were fine till a few weeks ago when we were putting in a new kitchen and I turned off the mains. I will have to run through the whole system again to see what's the problem. Atvb j.
  18. Thanks rake about. Would you have any idea on how to fix it. Or would l be better off leaving well enough alone in case I cause more problems. Atb j.
  19. Might drain the small header tank to see if that will make any differanc. Atb j.

  21. Hi mark. Its a super Stanley range. It's tank fed. Burns soild fuel. I have 7 double rads working off it. Its just when I put down a fire in the morning she staryts to bubble up. Then there is a sudden surge of water out the over flow under the eve. After that she seems to be fine. Its just up to that point I would be worried that I would blow the boiler. Might have to get the Plummer in. Atb j.
  22. Tryed that chicken man. Still no good. After a while it will gush out the over flow outside. I would be worried that it could blow the boiler on me. Atb j.
  23. Hi all. Would anyone know how to bleed the air out of a solid fuel back boiler. Its a super Stanley range. It was working fine till we put in a new kitchen a few weeks ago and had to shut off the water. Since then air seems to have gotten into the system. Any help would be much appreciated. Atb j.
