  7. Our vet here I have to say is brillant, all for the working man and his dogs. Never charge outrageous prices, always on the phone if needed, and no bother coming out at anytime. He's pushing on now, took a small stroke this year, but returned to work. Like everything else, he will be proberly be replaced some snow flake Atb j

  9. When do people start their Christmas/festive celebrations. Do some make a week or more of it, or just a few days. For my wife and myself, espically since the kids have grown, we visit close family members on Christmas eve, just the dinner on the day. Visit more family on st Stephens (boxing) day. That's it then till new years eve, and day. Quite simple and boring probably, compared to others lol. Atb j

  14. The same in the bigger shops in the city here, you can go into b and q, and the likes, buy power tools, kitchens bathrooms, a whole house if needed, buy not a bit of tinsel.   18. I enjoy coming on here. Like others have already said, it's nice to hear what's happening in other parts. There's a lot of tips in a lot of aeras that you can pick up on certain subjects. And there's lad that are willing to help out if they can, even if you never met or likely to meet them. Atb j
  19. Out of likes. It's going to be a strange Christmas for a lot of people. Espically the families that were looking forward to loved ones come home, but can't. and to thoes who lost loved ones due to this virus. So any bit of colourful cheer is needed to lift the spirit. Atb j
