  1. I still like the relax a lock and as to the visibility of them, I still believe that a wire set in the correct place and manner is invisible to the fox. Scent may give it away if careless as with any wire.
  2. A little bit of custom then for those two as I would be happy to purchase a few to try.
  3. As I said earlier I have tried them and in my opinion they work. It is out of pure choice I went with the relax a lock, as they looked the easiest to make at the time and I wanted to copy them. I used washers for a while as a stop gap which I believe can work quite well, but never continued as I thought they looked ameater. I haven't yet found a good way of copying the relax a lock with my limited toolbox!
  4. Micro locks are perfectly legal. They are not self locking.
  5. Have you tried making any Ian? Could do with an article on here from people who make from scratch rather than just assemble from parts, like I do.
  6. Yes I bought some micro locks 2 years ago, think I got them from pro trapper at the time.
  7. seriously though a garage is not a good place for ammo or firearms. Damp because of the cold and high potential for condensation.
  8. All that happens is that the powder will burn at a different rate, hence the reduction in velocity. (Same with shotgun carts as well) opposite can happen if the ammo cooks.
  9. Cold ammo will often have a reduced velocity. Should be stored at constant temp if possible.
  10. Complaint just submitted. Might have to wait 2 weeks, but interesting if anything is said tonight.
  11. Haven't bought in last couple of months but never had a problem before. Not sure if he is member on here but I think he is on one of the rabbiting forums. Try "rabbiters.co.UK"
  12. I haven't used them but I have seen a YouTube video with them. From what you are saying there is potentially a little more to think about but it sounds quite straightforward when you know what you are doing.
  13. does that mean locking ones might not be banned??? Play on words. I think he is just referring to the device generically. Example "relax a lock" is perfectly legal, as are so many copies and home made versions.

  15. Amazing...... Wish I could tie a few flies out of them.
