Time will tell with Hoijland mate, for me he looked every inch a proper striker, he's a handful, runs the channels and his movement in the box was very good, he's a proper number 9...but.. the service to him last year was woeful, I don't know hos stats but I think he ended up with maybe 15 goals, which isn't bad considering he fed off scraps...I think with Van Nistelroy there coaching him he'll come good personally... but, why only one proper striker at the club? We're now using Bruno as a false 9 (whatever that is?? Lol) as we haven't got a fit striker...madness...I'd love them to sign Toney

Got to be...straight into Slide Away... see you there..
-
Mad fer it!!

No they aren't mate, casimero had a very good first season, but is looking leggy, his best years are behind him...another short term signing...Mount just doesn't look.the player he was 3.or 4 years ago... but.. Mainoo, Garnacho, Amad etc are the future, McTominay has been a great honest player for the club, but he isn't good enough to command the midfield in any of the top teams. Arsenal = Rice/Odegard City = De Bruyne/Rodri Liverpool = Macalister/szobizlai (spelling) UTD need to sign a "proper" midfielder to challenge for top 4, let alone the league... Someone to bring Ma

Been a good servant to the club abd will be gutted to leave no doubt, but he can't stay a bit player for ever, he's too good for that... shame he's going, unfortunately he's not in the same level as the top midfielders in the league, and UTD have to be ruthless and kick on now
-
He had both, and as long as he kept Nancy in cavier and Cartier she didn't give a f**k! Lol
-
I think he's another with tons of ability but wrong personality/attitude.. personally wouldn't be sorry to see him moved on whilst he would still command some type of fee .. Its so frustrating that he has all the attributes needed to be top class, pace, two footed, skill, strength... but...we'll just but! His record is pretty good though, 130 odd goals for utd, he could of seriously challenged Rooneys record...but he hasn't got Rooneys mind set

Sad that, I watched the documentary last night..lived some life

Didn't he have his best season ever after the miss, 30 odd goals?

Great weekend again lads, thanks to everyone for making it what it is. Raised close to £1400, so another good effort from a bunch of hairy assed hunters sat round a camp fire... Thanks to Mary, Niramah and Graeme for laying it all on again and making everyone so welcome.. Thanks to everyone who attended across the weekend bringing prizes, money for the kitty etc, it's appreciated even if you can't stay all weekend.. The 12 months recovery before we do it again has began...cheers lads!

beat me to the robot analogy, I'd probably argue against the boxing to be honest, there are still some good fights and the "one punch can change it all" is still very much true. But agreed with the higher level of professionalism, the feeling of they are "one of us" a pint and a fag whilst playing snooker/darts and at half time in the changing rooms has certainly gone...boring fuckers! lol
-
Bang on mate. The Euros were exactly that as well, every player now acts like a robot almost, it's so drilled and "perfect" it's lost its edge. Or we are a bunch of boring old men with rose tinted glasses, one or the other! lol
