I felt a bit iffy about cutting one a couple of weeks ago, so i took the valve out and filled it with water and then let it out,before cutting it with the grinder.

Sorry for the hijack lol. I boiled a rabbit for an hour or so,so i could take the meat off the bone. But when i was taking out the loin wit a knife something burst into my face it was little white bits all over my face lol. What do you think it was?

I've been told that if you stick a blob of vaseline on the tick's body, that it suffocates the tick and it drops off. [ not sure how true this is though, so has anyone else tried this ? ] Also, doesn't ivomectin kill ticks/mites etc ? Your dead on there,even a blob of butter will do the trick

Best on own by all accounts. Mine kennelled with my whip x grey @ minute and no probs as yet but both still young so time will tell. Keep us updated,i would like to hear what they are like when they mature.

My mates lurcher grabbed our terrier when a fox bolted,about two years ago. The lurcher gave the terrier a good shake,it left two good size holes under its front armpits. The vet stiched him up and it cost me 30euro.

Why dont ye find yourselves proper vets,That will give you an honest answer of how much itll cost if you go down the road of trying to give it a few extra months of life! Farm vets,family vets that have been used for years,that only have the animals welfare at hart. Not them money grabbing b*****d of pet clinics with 4 or 5 vets employed.You go into them with your dog and end getting a lecture about your dogs health. They make me sick.

Killykeen was a great lake for Pike some years ago but has been plundered by these people who have no regard for pike conservation.I caught my first double on this lake thirty years ago. In my opinion any lakes in the Cavan area that have easy access like this lake are not worth fishing because the stocks have been depleted by mindless idiots who have no regard at all for the balance of nature. The only lakes I fish in the area now are the ones with either floating banks (these people have no proper waders) or lakes that are very difficult to access. Thankfully the fisheries board is takin

Well done lads,i gave up on pike fishing a couple years ago. I fished for about 10 years and never had any over 8 lb. I got lots of pike but always around the same size.
