Some interesting points that I agree with, othrs I just have to challenge, but I'll add my further thoughts when I've digested what's been written since my last contribution Off to Microsoft Word now, back later - it could take a while Crow

The Jack Russell Terrier, Its Training and Entering. Published by Plummer in 1976. This book is probably the rarest of the Plummer books in 1st edition form. Generally in a good condition with the following exceptions; signs of aging to the top and edges of the pages (it is 30 years old!), and the top right-hand coner of the front blank page has been removed (probably because it had a previous owners name on it). Sold to the first person to make a reasonable offer by PM. Please note: I'm not going to get into stupid comments about how genuine or not Plummer was, whether or

But! Isn’t the Black Footed Ferret of North America a ferret in name only, and a polecat just like the European and Siberian (or Steppe) polecat? We have to bear in mind that the Black Footed Ferret wasn't officially recognised as a species until 1851, following the publication of a book by John James Audubon and Rev. John Bachman (both noted naturalists of their time - in fact Rev. John Bachman used his natural history knowledge to become one of the first writers to argue scientifically that blacks and whites are the same species, but I digress). However, despite the claims of Audub

QUALITY HAND MADE MESH BOARDS Polished Brass (left) or Aluminium (right) Made to your specification, these mesh boards will not only allow you to knit a net to your exact requirements, but are also a pleasure to work with. Keep them polished, or allow them to become a nice blend of tarnished / polished through use. PM me your specifications (thickness x width x height and material) and I'll return a price! Crow

No worries :thumbs-up: As I said use it if you want to, but don't if you don't (its too big for a sig pic anyway now that I've seen it on the page!). I was just messing around with Paintshop Pro and Rabbithunters post came to mind - so I though I'd knock something up.

Ditch I refer you to the thread from RabbitHunter about signature pics. Well, it's not just a young mans game this here computer lark, so I settled down with a bottle of wine and decided to knock you up a signature pic of your very own. Now, I could have just thrown together a few pics of people ferreting, lamping, etc, but thats a bit 'old skool', instead I set my addled brain to thinking about YOU. And, please don't take offence, I have to admit that my image of you is that of a time long gone by. I see you as the kind of guy walking into an old hardware store to buy your traps,

How many more threads in the for sale/wanted are we going to see that are just entitled 'For Sale' or 'Wanted'? You know the ones, they have been viewed 35,786 times but have 4 responses - doesn't that tell you something? If you are selling something then put it in the title - i.e "Gin Trap For Sale" - and if you want something take a similar approach - i.e "Wanted, A Life!". It's like sticking an advert in a shop window saying 'Wanted' and thats f*****g it. Think!! Rant over - back to the wine

Remember, if you get an Albino then they both carry the recessive albino gene (might be worth remembering if you want to breed off them at a later date). Crow

Taken from another forum I visit: ____________________________________________________________________________ TRAVEL TAX!! If you haven't already done so please take note of the following and add your name to the petition ... The government's proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having to purchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to use it. The tracking device will cost about £200 and in a recent study by the BBC, the lowest monthly bill was £28 for a rural florist and £194 for a delivery driver. A non working Mum who used the car to tak
