  1. The Kingdom of God is inside you and all around you, Not in a mansion of wood and stone. Split a piece of wood and God is there, Lift a stone and you will find God Sums it up for me!
  2. If you can't shoot them with your 177 you could always knock up a few snares out of old bailer twine! When it comes to killing animals use the right tool for the right job, one that ALWAYS works, not SOMETIMES! Crow Edited to add: And why is this in the classifieds
  3. Molecatcher does a handy basket too
  4. I'm trying to get in touch with you about your mesh board - you have the pick of two! I've tried PMing and apparently you don't receive PMs any more! I've also emailed you, but as you've been on since I sent it and haven't replied I can only assume that didn't get through either! Get in touch, it's ready to go! Crow
  5. Too many http's in your link
  6. Kind of strange to me that you're asking for guaranteed places that hold hare in a county where hare is obviously not very common - just so you can go and shoot them! Won't be any left then will there!
  7. Search engines work in funny ways They will all find your site, but you may just be down on page 125! Strangely, the more people who access your site througfh that search result then the higher you move up the list! You can help by making sure your meta-tags are filled in with a range of good words relating to your site. Also, have as much as your site open to general browsers as possible, that way the search bots will be able to view too! As has been said, it takes time Crow By the way, what's your site called?
  8. will_cox If you want to give the traditional net a go then do so - ignore the bleats of the lazy lot above The quickset system is just that - quicker to set. It's also easier too which might explain why it's so popular However, I don't think the quickset is as versatile as the traditional method - and it's a damn sight harder to hide under your jacket My advice would be to have a go in daylight first just to get the feel of laying it out and picking it up. When you've tried them both then you can make your mind up. Good luck! Crow Edited to add that Tomo poste
  9. Well put Crow (maybe going under )
  10. No you're right, you didn't say hemp is the worst, what you said was "Hemp is just shite. Soon as its wet and dried out it snags, snaps and really won't hold a bolting rabbit!!! The best thing for used hemp is the bin". So, based on your experience, perhaps you can tell the original poster just what is the worst type of net - and why? Crow
  11. I've used hemp for all my ferreting life, I've never had a problem and I'll keep on using it - but then I know what I'm doing
  12. I think I saw it - £285? Too fancy (unless you want to swap it for a MK1 locator and 2 collars ) Good luck with selling it Crow
  13. Nothing fancy, just good enough to pop off a few rats. PM with what you have, price, etc. Ta Crow Forgot to say, that as I'm on the arse end of this country it will have to be posted!!
  14. Hey Compo, I thought you'd have registered www.compohunting.co.uk (its available and is just £5.90 for 2 years) and pointed at your site. Gets rid of the long freeweb url
  15. www.123-reg.co.uk are good for domain names. When you buy web space make sure that it will handle PHP and MYsql databases too. As for site creating software you could go for something like Joomla which is what is called 'open source' software - anyone can use it free of charge. Although it's pretty easy to use it has a full support forum and has loads of add-ons including an e-commerce package. Have a look at the Joomla website for further info. Good luck!
  16. I might put my collection of Plummers up for sale - going on the current market they would buy me a nice house in Yorkshire
  17. Are you still going there It's no wonder its getting a little 'light' on the coney front - I should think everyone in the area uses that place and have done for years I'll speak to my landowner tonight and get you some proper sport Nice read anyway
  18. I bet there are a lot of watchers tho - and I bet the sellers getting excited
  19. I kid you not Check out ebay item number 130159609865 (I can't get a link to work for some reason!!). Postage is reasonable tho And I sold my last copy for £30 (to a member off here so I bet he's smiling!) Crow

5 yards apart is what I'd go for. Much further than that and you could have problems if you get a few rabbits in the same 'section' of net.
  21. I'd put my neck on the line and say that 90% (or more) of the dogs on here are first and foremost pets!
  22. Absolutely right Netrigger, these days it's all about how cheap something is. I had a guy at the Midland complain that the quality hand made nets we were selling were too expensive at £2.50 - what a tw@t! It takes half an hour to knit (and at minimum wage that's over £2.50), it takes at least 10 minutes to find, cut and shape the peg, and then we have the cost of the rings (about 20p), the draw cord (about 20p) and of course the twine to knit the net (about £1.00) and you get tw@ts say that at £2.50 they are expensive Still, we all learn in the end to buy what will last, not what
  23. Speaking frankly you get what you pay for! It always amazes me that people still buy this type of cheap crap when you have skilled netmakers selling quality hand made nets for a mere £2.50 or less - and that's too bloody cheap anyway! Do yourself a favour and throw your crap away! Then, get in touch with a proper netmaker and secure yourself some nets that will last a lifetime. Crow
  24. Compared to some of the things I've been called I'll take that as a compliment Have a good 'un, whatever nets or netting system you use
  25. Actually black is white - just a different shade Agree totally with everything else you said Crow
