After use a good clean and a rub over with any light synthetic oil on all exposed metal parts will keep it in good shape.

Keeps the ferrets topped up with food.Soon be lamping the fields after rabbits.

Keep them happy keep showing your face and looks a decent enough place to go when it is raining and you want to keep dry.

All the rape cut on this farm.The barley will be cut as soon as there is a bit of decent dry weather.

A good number of pigeons here but spread out over the fields that have been cut.

Met up with Stuart at 1030 this morning and as it was raining we had a look round till it stopped.We chose where we were going to shoot and so we flagged off a couple of fields to deter the pigeons.We pushed a couple of bales together to shelter out of the wind and set up in front of them.We shot till 1800 hrs and ended the day with 158 woodpigeon and 20 ferals.Some more good days to be had there as a good number of pigeons about.

You both did well to keep dry today and had a decent time on the pigeons as well.Just makes it a bit more fun shooting a 410 as you have to be mostly on the ball shooting 18g cartridges.

Farmer had some chickens and a duck taken so went down and managed to get these two.Some more about so will have to go down again for another go.

Met up with Stuart this morning for another go at the pigeons on the barley field we shot last week.Nothing much about when we got there but we got set up and a few pigeons started to come to the pattern.Stuart shot 10 pigeons with steel for a hawk and took them straight back to the van so we did not get them mixed up when we started using lead shot.After a few pattern changes we got the pigeons decoying pretty well and ended the day with a total of 82 pigeons picked up.Stuart had the shot of the day when he got 2 pigeons with one shot.Both of us had a very good and enjoyable day out with some
