    A "good" border is as good as any other working terrier if it's been bred out of genuine digging stuff!!! and most of the really good dog's will enter at about the same age as the other breed's,as said above quite a few will tend to be hard to fox!

    Sallie,if you are having treatment for your illness there is no way you would be able to look after and rear a litter of pup's let alone three litters in one year as you stated when looking for a stud dog!!!     Miner was an excellent dog in the ground,he could find his quarry in any earth no matter how awkward the place,would stay however long it took to get the job done and had enough brains to keep it in a stop-end with enough pressure without getting too much stick!!! Weather people like nuttalls or not, nobody could knock the dog for his working ability!!!!!! The dog produced some of the most consistant workers about at the time!

    just run rabbits where you find them mate. its lovely to have good permission but iv only had permission a year.hare coursings a bit diffrent because youv got to be able to stand up to a angry farmer if you need too. i never had any trouble lamping just use yourhead dont lamp outside farm houses or road sides and youll be o.k to be honest its not much of a nick a few rabbits ! ! FFS,You said in your earlier post about giving younsters a chance and showing them the right way to behave,now you are on about being "able to stand up to a angry farmer",that's really seting an example!!!!!
