Not necessarily, look at the evolution of the peppered moth:

Nothing like a hare, but it does go to show that nature can adapt quicker than you might think.. Food for thought.
i stand corected.
she can last a full nights lamping. its just i read a while back that some people were giving there dog an energy boost half way through the night. i meen they must burn off a hell of a lot of energy lamping. if we were to run a marathon we would have some sort of energy boost so why not our dogs?
does anyone give there dog something to give them an energy boost when out lamping? like half way through the night? if you do what do you use?
thanks hullhunter
its gayle force wind up my way so cant wait to get out to night. but guaranteed it will have turned into a slight breeze if not no wind at all by the time its time to get the lamp out.
who out to night and whats the weather like up your way?
it will be the pup trying to take the dominant role in the pack my opinion would be to leave them to sort it out them self just keep an eye on them because if you split them up now they will eventually fight till the pup is top dog or it submits to the other one.
good post this i no of a few dogs that would out run most dogs in a stright line but they have not got a clue how to use there speed and ive seen dogs that are half as fast take much more quary.
