  1. Yeah, very very good ?. You see the one where he cooked crow breasts? Looked great, and he said they were better than woodpigeon lol
  2. Sam the cooking guy. Really good, and funny
  3. I've only ever hunted edible game, so I never even slipped him on anything other than rabbits, hares and deer of various sorts. And he was better than useful on stuff other than rabbits. Sounds a tad cloak and dagger, silly even, BUT, you never know who's looking in if I said he was a very good hare dog and extremely good on deer ??

Worcester sauce is the stuff of gods ?
  5. Lol seriously blacky, at rabbits the dog was even less than quite useful lol ?
  6. Less than 50 years sandy, I've had one of my old dogs described to me as 'one of the best rabbit dogs to come out of our area'. He was actually pretty crap at rabbits, and annoyed the f**k out of me! Lol. Chinese whispers indeed lol?
  7. I'd class her as half hound, 1/4 saluki 1/4 whippet. But full hound, seeing as whippets, salukis and greyhounds are all hounds ?

If I won tomorrow's 91 million, I'd leave half to some random cat sanctuaries and half to st tiggywinkles, I'm good like that ?
  9. Excuse me for being a tad thick here, but what exactly are you saying?
  10. Watched loads of stuff the last couple of years, but this lat year especially, I've been watching alot of the tripe that's going on with fury and the heavyweight fiasco. The man is making less sense as time goes on lol
  11. Paid £20 for my first lurcher pup lol. She didn't amount to much, but that was down to me
  12. Yep, it's like they think the more they pay for a dog, the better the dog is ?
  13. I'm in agreement with your earlier post mate. I think it's an obscene amount of money to pay for a dog, if you could afford it or not. And when I said 'an old mate', we were mates years ago, lived about 50 yards from each other. First started rabbiting with him and his uncle. But then as you get older, you change and you develope different interests etc. He kept staffs, and showed them for about 10 years, then got more into all the showing side of it, and started judging at kc shows, and then got into bulldogs when he saw the money people were charging for, and prepared to pay for those pups
  14. Yep, an old mate of mine, who passed away two years ago, bred, showed and judged british bulldogs, was charging £3000 a pup, and had no shortage of buyers
  15. You won't get far with your training scoffing mcdonald's shite, instead of a good clean diet mate lol ?
  16. Lol no no mate, I was just messing about, after bill saying there was matiff blood in german shepherds lol ?
  17. When yoi say 'grew' trev, do you mean a 1st x whip/grey?
  18. Lol yeah, I'd think some of the earlier types would've been a cracking little vermin dog ?
  19. I like those lancashire heelers. There's a woman lives less than 100 yards from me with one, cracking little dog. A little too short legged but a cracking little dog
  20. I know that mate but surely there would've been a better breed than dalmations?
  21. Why on earth was dalmation blood bred into these dogs phil, many dog breeds have a natural affinity with horses? I know the early dogs would've been a far cry from the modern dogs, but I personally can't see what they would bring to the type over different tougher breeds that were just as good with horses. Similarly, I could say the same as to the 'supposed' dalmation blood in the english bull terrier, why?! Not a dig at you, or your research etc, it's just baffling why dalmation blood was used in the creation of those two breeds ?
  22. kin el bill, you've just consigned me to some more herding dog information work! Lol good job I have an interest in pastoral type dogs lol ?
