  1. I've owned three 1st cross whippet/greys in the past. I found them very versatile, and great catch dogs.
  2. Same here mate, seen what you say several times.
  3. You'd walk 30 miles, run a few hares, then go lamping and run whatever got up, all in the same 24 hours?! No wonder the dogs threw in the towel, they were sick of you!! ? ?
  4. Correct there charts. Seen dozens of prick eared whippets over the years.
  5. How is every cross or type you've seen, apart from saluki coursing types, crap? Greyhounds, whippet/greyhounds and whippets, would collapse just through walking all day, after a few runs?! Yeah ok lol
  6. That's it, common sense. ?
  7. Don't be such a hater ? Good post that tomo. Saved me from writing something very similar lol.
  8. The 1st cross whippet greyhounds I've owned never lacked stamina. Now, I wouldn't think so charts, but are/were you mistaking lack of stamina to lack of fitness, which most people do?

  12. The curse won't work, he's plastic. ?
  13. Obviously made for bludgeoning a KUNT!! ? ?
  14. No mate. But will be in the future. Got no need these days for anything else. And it'll only be lightly worked anyway. ?
  15. Well she certainly looks content. You not a fan of collie lurchers?
  16. Collie/grey lab/grey. That's an interesting type?
  17. Like I said, like most whippets. ?? ?
  18. No, I didn't say that mate. But you did say he was a 'one off'. All I'm saying is, he was probably just like most whippets, full of character and game for most things.
  19. Do you think that's why you might 'possibly' regard your whippet as a 'one off'? Not being obtuse here, but I remember a lot of your posts about him, and to me, what you were describing about him, is what most whippets do. I've been involved with whippets, greyhounds and lurchers for about 45 years, and owned four kc reg whippets, and seen several others, that worked like trojans, were afraid of no cover, however thick or dense and were braver than a lot of lurchers that I've seen or owned. Not looking for an argument, just stating what I think. ?
  20. What was your first running dog, mate?
  21. Been going this way fairly quickly for years, even quicker since the ban.
