  1. ?% ? Google, Wikipedia, etc etc etc, government/scientific stats etc etc, the whole world is now an expert on everything. But not really. I really enjoyed reading black beauty, as a child. ?
  2. Don't trouble yourself about asking your mate, Francie. Might cause a bit of uneasiness. I wasn't calling you a liar, it was just an observation. The up to date scanners are incredibly clear. Even told us his weight in grams, and how long he was, to the nearest millimetre, incredible. ?
  3. If you read ALL of the link sandy put up, it's fairly obvious really, Francie. Personally, I'd side with the negative protons being more responsible. ? ?
  4. Can't beat a bit of light reading, during Christmas. ?

    #1 for me, pretentiousness.
  6. Shezzer, good man. One thinks one shall have to imbibe a glass or two of vino tinto. Tally ho, blacky ? ?
  7. Unless your hospitals and equipment are behind the times, Francie, I can't agree with that one bit. I went to to all the scans with my Mrs, from the first one, when she was 14 weeks pregnant, and everything was crystal clear. Could easily see everything.
  8. You been at that eggnog again, blacky? ? Well, the way I see it, although I can sort some simple enough tasks out, if I'm unsure, I go to an expert. Simple. ?
  9. Two pages before the vet was mentioned. That'd be my first port of call, too.
  10. Starter, in my house lol Looks good though, all this perfectly presented stuff is great, but very unnecessary, unless you're trying to get your leg over!! @kanny ??
  11. Got to the pub about 2.45 ish. Had two, and the boy was getting a tad 'fractious', as he's not used to all the hustle and bustle, even though there was only six other people there lol. We had a 'quick' one more, then home. Pub is only 400 yards from our house. Been home for for about an hour now, and everything is going very nicely. Have a good new year everyone ?
  12. Looks great, to be be fair. ?
  13. To the first paragraph, no, mate. In all honesty I'm very different to what I sometimes am on here. I just get a tad enthusiastic with the banter between Magoo, and yourself, sometimes, on the fury posts mostly lol. To the 2nd. We don't go to the pub very often anymore. Never really used to go that often anyway. A few quiet ones today, back home to relax, then the next time we go down it'll probably be on a sunny spring day, for a meal. Have a good new year ?
  14. 9.5 for presentation. Looks good, mate. Just finished my 2nd bacon, egg and mushroom toastie. ? Get a shower now, then down the pub for a few quiet ones, with the mrs. ?

Celebrity chefs and 'expert' wine buffs. 'Oh that's superbly light and crisp, with a subtle hint of hibiscus and wild thyme'. Or whatever. ? FAAACK OOOFF!!
  16. ? ? ? Kin el, mate, you need to broaden your horizons, for your physical AND mental health!! ? ?
  17. Nice to hear you sticking to being sensible, Gooey. ? ??
  18. ? look out, someone's had a glass too much festive eggnog!! ? how's it going, Gooey?
  19. Toasted brown bread, topped with sliced banana, a drizzle of honey over it, and a sprinkle of chopped fresh mint over it. Beautiful ?
  20. We're having goose again this year. Last one we had was 5 years ago. At the time, our now 15 year old lad was 10. I put the goose in the oven to slow 'ish' cook for a few hours, at 9 pm. The mrs went to bed early, 9.30 ish, so I think 'I'll have a couple of festive glasses of red wine". Son gets up to go to the toilet about 10.30, and sees me with a glass of wine, watching tv. After a while I go check see how the goose is coming along, only to find the oven turned off, and the goose cold and very uncooked!! Puzzled, I sort it out and put the goose back on to cook, ad
