Speaking personally, wearing camo gear, especially when lamping, ensured my safety a tad more, from disgruntled, gun toting farmers etc, whilst using a bit of cover to conceal oneself.

Had a terrapin for my 13th birthday, December, many many moons ago. Kept him in one of those plastic 'islands' in the kitchen, next to the kitchen window. Was cold in that kitchen, even in summer. Poor little f****r lasted about three weeks. I think the cold must've sapped the life out of it. That was the only reptile I've ever owned. ?

Don't agree with that, mate. Seen several people's dogs working over the years, some of them better than the better dogs I've owned. Not been bitter or jealous of any of them. Really good dogs, really good owners.
