    right, for starters, when replying to posts, try pressing the reply button just ONCE, so we dont get multiple reply posts the same secondly, Ive been leaving the ferret section to go along by itself of late, and letting a few "wrong" posts slip by, but I for one(as well as admin) cannot stand trying to figure out what a post says, because of the amount of text talk/shorten words in it, now reading through these 4 pages, its not just "the big oz" but, Ill say it again, after reading this post, go and read the forum rules, on TEXT TALK, some will probably say they are just shite spellers, we

    The fenix 400 was the best one of all the Cometas. They performed not to bad, but when I opened one up, the internals were not that great quality. One of the better cheap airguns really.

    Powapell in my Daystate Air Ranger These are a crossman pellet made by Webley,, I`m not sure ,but I have heard that the partnership is not going to continue and the pellets are/will be made by someone else. ATB

    If you must feed them cat food ,give it dry and make sure they have plenty water. better to get a complete ferret food. Alpha etc I have absolutely no idea what this means.

    What spray did he give you,, hopefully Frontline Once you get a bit more familiar with the wee buggers, you`ll have less need to go to vets and will save some cash. ATB

    Yes, they will both share the same consistency. But the inherently flatter trajectory of the .177 will, in practice, typically translate to a greater degree of accuracy, as less emphasis is put on the shooter's ability. After all we're talking about hunting here. Not traditional target shooting where you're shooting at a static target of consistent size at an identical distance every time. Zinis point exactley. Practice means there is no difference between the calibres. I can hit as consitently with a .22 as I can with the .177.

    No offence mate ,but given that the barrels are all pitted etc ,and you`ve painted all up. It may be worth stating use as an ornament only. Not sure I`d sell one like this for someone to shoot with. If Im out of line just say,, but JMHO ATB

    NCT = MOT yeh ?? Doesn`t you insurance cover the windscreen (usually a small excess), Still say though,, a bit sorting and an years ticket and it`ll sell 10x quicker. ATB

    How do OZ Folk will be a bit pissed off with another bloke turning up with new ferrets and no clue about them. When you see it as much as us on here you can understand why. You should have read up before buying, but hey ho, it`s done now. My advice is to spend the next 24hrs reading this forum and learning,, it`s all here ,just find it Once you`ve done that,,then come back to find out about what you missed Good luck ATB

    Thanks for all the replies folks, I appreciate the advise. Am erring towards a TD5 but a Jap import D1 is tempting as well. My Pajero was imported by me so I know the benifits. TBH if I go TD5 it might be import as well. ATB

    Get the windscreen on the insurance. Exhaust is tuppence ha`penny so get it done and leave the dents. Consumables are a big barganing point when buying, so get rid of them and stick to your price,,Vans are meant to have dents ATB

    Alpha is OK,, James Wellbeloved is good as well...Chudleys is shite. JMHO Have to say, I like it and have had a few ferrets that preffered it to meat!! Keeps the court cleaner in summer in my opinion as well. Firm stools and less flies. Don`t be shy to use it,,,plenty on here wont and will tell you not to but plenty that know ferrets will appreciate it`s usefullness and benifits. ATB
