Agree mate could work out to be a fecking waste of time..... but so could a pup out of good stuff mind....depends who's doing the training.... If the dog is to work at any decent standard then of course look for 2 decent working parents, not just how much red is in the paperwork....

Im not being funny mate but most of these show lines are that far removed from the real deal they have almost no hunting instinct...whatsoever. FTB I dont know cockers so al leave it there but i reckon most dogs trained from a pup will stick there nose in a bush when they smell something, maybe not.....

Very common in spaniels...............it will grow out of it. Try not to make a fuss of it when its in the house. -
What do you want it for exactly. If its just to do a bit of beating with then getting it as a puppy i'm sure it could be trained to be a steady little dog. I wouldn't expect it to be no world beater(pardon the pun).....

Interesting.........Why would any of you guys spend time and effort on training your dog to stop chasing, whats the benefit?. I understand after the catch and you get there but during the course what is the reason? Just wondering if some of the guys who say they have "trained" dogs to stop mid course have really just got dogs that were giving up but "training to stop" sounds better?.....

I have a funny feeling it has just been "1 of they seasons" for you. I would be reluctant to keep poults in the field as Dan says till 9 weeks for the chance of any disease starting. Realistically they birds need out at 7 as by that time they have the grass in the pens well flattened and are needing out for space and insect life. The price would for a 9 week old poult would be another added expense. Also i wouldn't be keen on releasing poults at that age, i've found in the past that the closer you get to 10 weeks the harder it is to keep your birds in the pen. Buzzards dont like pheasant mea

have a mate who is a pest control officer with the council.he says if only folk saw in thse dirty c**ts kitchens they would never eat an indian again.consider the reason for curry powder,hot countrys,no fridges years ago,and was used to hide the taint of bad meat.just the other day my brother and his bird were having a meal,he left the lid of the takeaway on the bunker (worktop lol) and the f*****g thing stained it.imagine what that shit is doing to your insides How many fags you had today..............

Celtic didn't start the game with 10 players though, did they? It just makes me sad as someone who occasionally follows Scottish football to see such a dramatic decline in the product over the last 10 years or so. He got sent off after about 90 secs mate............

My bet is there was a time Celtic would have been confident beating a side like that with 7 players let alone 10 Sorry mate but there not the local pub team. Yes there no top side, far from it but losing a man and a goal to a penalty it was an uphill battle. Not trying to make excuses for them mate and i do think its a little embarressing how we have got through but i'll take it for the money reasons... They weren't Real Madrid/Barcelona, AC/Inter Milan or Man Utd/Arsenal either Lab.. There was a time when the old firm were genuinely (in my eyes anyway) a part of Europe's elit
