  1. Just an empty husk mate, nothing morbid about spending a few minutes with the shell of a relative or friend who is no longer around. Maybe but i visited one of my friends who took his own life while he lay in the coffin in the parlour. On one hand i'm glad i was there with the rest of my a mates but i'm f****d if thats the image i want too keep of him. On the other hand i think my girl is a bit strange when she goes to visit her Gran in the cemetary she wants to stay all f*****g day reading graves.......

  6. Not every guardy dog has guard dog training.............im not saying they shouldnt recieve training of course they should...............but plenty dogs will show a natural urge to guard without training and without being an unstable lunatic. Same as with most things.....choose the right breed of dog for your needs and your half way there, unfortunately most folk dont. Your right......... but probably the reason visitors, posties and the likes have to run like f**k. Surely a decent trained guard dog would be able to tell the difference from an intruder and a visitor??? I dont know....
  7. Sounds like a recipe for disaster, that one Im no expert but i get what the fellas saying.............surely any dog with a job to do needs to have a natural urge to do that job..............id imagine even if left untrained any guard dog should have a natural instinct to guard. Still needs to have the basic training. Maybe being able to stop it killing your mate thats popped round for a coffee for a start!!
  8. Here you go mate..i need to try and dig the stump out but that is for another day.. ..the bit that is left laying on the floor need's to be cut with caution as they is barbed wire embeded into part's of it what can not be seen.. well bet your glad thats done looks like you had a busy day!!! id google stump grinders in your local area tho mate some only charge £15 - £20 an hour and it will be money well spent to save digging that stump out if its 35 years old!!!! and use an old chain on the big bit left so it dont matter if you hit the wire cheers for posting tho, hope your enjoying
  9. don't you think that cruel leaving it in the house 24/7? Yeah It is cruel mate as I said its my wifes cat its only about 7 month old sometimes sits in garden It does alot damage to the furinture and chases dog all ova the house We had another cat before that which got killed. She said she cant go threw that again so she decided keep cat safe in the house. . you say WE had another cat, i think you sectretly love your cat and this is all a bit of brovado in't it ? Mate iv said this from the start I dont chase them but if my cat was doing wrong killing someone chickens or pigeo

  11. Had a phone call last night from a mate and seemingly some bloke was walking past his house and saw him with his dog in the garden and asked "Is that a dog..dog or a HEN..dog.......FFS!!!!!

  12. Not exactly sure but i'd imagine there a pittance. Probably something ridiculous like 40p a brace............ Last year round here it was 2 quid a brace,80p hen bird,1.20 for a cock. Almost makes it worth while having a nocturnal trip out in the woods with an air rifle..... lol. In all seriousness I think if they were fetching that price nationaly there would be a huge increase in poaching birds again! Wish I had an outlet at that price. I've reported you too Malt for that one..................... Yeah thanks for that Lab, maybe he can sell any ones I might accident
  13. Well theres a choice there........if its causing you harm then chap it on the head and shut the f**k up........dont be bagging it and taking it to a field somewhere and setting the dogs on it ffs and letting every tom dick and harry see you do it. I'll just add for certain members that this might be happening, its not gospel!!!....
  14. i'll do it for 200 and a pup What a f*****g snake ......£150 and a night out at the cinema ......final offer!!!.....
  15. Thing is you can walk 20 miles if you like everyday but if the dog is buy your side or on a lead then its hardly excersice. My dogs get free reign to hunt and if i do 2/3 miles you can bet they'll be running 4/5 miles.
  16. i think its got as many as your stud dog  .............classic!!!
  17. Between half and hour and an hour everyday. In the season they are getting worked all day 3/4 times a week as well.

    badgers

agree mate it was the same with the sparrowhawk 70`s early `s they were as rare as hens teeth around here, now there as common as starlings. Which is ironic because as sparrowhawk numbers have increased so populations of small bird species have crashed. Like has been said, there are shed loads of badgers local to me but I haven't once seen a hedgehog in the 8 years I've been living here but I've seen more badgers than in my whole life previous. thats bollox about the spar mate, a healthy spar population means a healthy bird population, the demise of our garden birds is feck all to d
