    HaHa Do you throw the ghat or fire it ? ..... Happy memories ! Think it was completly useless , about 35 - 40 years ago they probably still are ??!!!!?? yeah but we all had a gat then i upgraded to a custom weapon the diana sp50 with 12 free darts.

    for all the money they cost mate buy the kit it'll transform your trigger for weight of pull and creep. i think syss do their own kits now so you could try them. alan.

    nice one mate 200yds ?? hardly worth you using the scope eh ?? pity we didnt see more birds yesterday on fodderlee mate and spoke to sandy last night he said the snipe werent much better but what can you do never mind at least we got a good walk. we'll have to have a night lamping soon, we can make a night of it and look all my permissions. all the best mate alan.

    you can buy paint for high heat areas such as fireplaces, exhausts etc, comes in either a spray can or little tins you brush on, go for matt black.... i sprayed my ase S5, used matt black barbecue paint from homebase. couple of coats and jobs a good un. alan.

    while ive no experience if the 410 hushpower i did own a 12g single barrel baikal hushpower for a very short while but got rid very quickly as it was like swinging a drainpipe. for me the disadvantages of the moderator far outway the advantages, it was one of those ideas that seemed good at the time but one i was soon regretting. just my 2p worth. alan.

    you should never have mentioned accuracy mate, that doesnt matter to plod. you should have went down the hearing protection route then they more or less have to give it to you as it becomes a health and safety issue.

    you had best put it on another line as a mod is a seperate item from your rifle when entered on your ticket. it is for lothian and borders force anyway. either way it wont cock the form up. hope this helps.

What's the modertor on your rifle,is it an S5 ? yes mate its an ASE S5 i sprayed it black to stop the glare in the lamp Getting an S5 for my 308, are you happy with the performance of yours ? yes very pleased mate they do seem as quiet as a T8 but no tinny ring, and being stainless theres no real maintenance except a squirt of wd40 down it now and again. i would assume they'll last longer than the T8 aswell. you wont be disappointed mate.

    if its a good hardy working gun youre after get a baikal o/u, they seem to be indestructible ( at least mine is ) have a look on guntrader you might find some on there but it depends what you want to spend. imho it doesnt matter if you pay £100 or £1000 if you dont point the thing the right way you wont hit anything.
