  1. Hello mate well done im going to call you the warner from now on. And im going to call you what i always call you LUCKY B£STARD well done though mate, all the best.
  2. yeah, i agree go for both coterminous cause im sure once you get the shotty youll want to move on to a rifle. if your land is cleared up to centrfire cals put one down as well, in my experience its better to apply for anything you might need at first application cause a variation can be a pain in the arse and costs you an extra 26 quid. good luck, go for it. alan.
  3. hi mate, licensing for firearms mainly about having good reason to possess the rifle and suitable cleared land to use it on this varies from force to force. cost i cant help you with as my tickets are coterminous so i dont know the individuasl prices but at a guess for fac i reckon £40. if youre shotty cabinet is modern you should be ok but youre feo will advise during his visit. as for rifles i dont think you can better cz for the money theyre both accurate and reliable. lastly though, you cannot use a 22 rimfire for fox control except at very close range , if you are serious about foxe
  4. hi mate, ive got the same rifle in 243 and thought about going down the same route as you and fitting a replacement stock, but in the end i removed the hardwood button on the end and took out about 3/4 of an inch on the stock then drilled and repaced it thus leaving the screwcut section free. i went with an asu utra S5 mod. good noise reduction and short length for an end of barrel mod. maybe not what you want to do but a replacement stock may be hard to come by without getting one made. cheers alan.
  5. really no one best calibre though the 223 seems to be most serious fox shooters weapon off choice partly cause theyre cheap to feed and home load and because theyre fast and flat. i personally use a 243 but any of the 22 centrefires will do the job. the ground that you shoot over also can have a bearing. at the end of the day any that you feel comfortable using and that will kill humanely will do the job. if you want to try stalking you will have to go 243 upwards. hope this helps. alan.
  6. give us a clue where you are mate and maybe someone can help
  7. 17 hmr,who has them, what glass do they have on them, make of the rifle, ammunition used they find best for there gun, range they can shoot bunnys when lamping without tripod going for headshots, moderaor used christ you're straight to the point arent you at least a please would be good, courtesy costs nothing its like the fookin gestapo anyhoo on my cz varmint i use a 6-18x50, best ammo through mine is hornady or federal v-max but every rifle seems different. headshots are a formality if you can do your bit, ive taken rabbits out to near 200yds of the bipod in still conditions. fi
  8. Dont waste money on a reflex, they are too big, volume wise to work efficiently. The best mod for a .17 is the SAK. SECONDED, NONE BETTER FOR THE MONEY
  9. try this link mate you'll find them cheaper than the £8.00 cluson will charge you for a bulb http://www.yourwelcome.co.uk/acatalog/Proj...list_lamps.html the one i think you'll need is the 12v 50w but pull the old one out and see all the best alan.
