  1. you wont go far wrong with a js,ramsbottom scope they are really good quality but one word of advice! check out the weight and length of your prospective scope, the heavier it is the more it will dampen the recoil but obviosley increase an already heavy rifle. The lenght is important as you will want your scope as close to the barrel as poss but if its too long it will obscure the sliding breech and loading pellets will be a pain in the behind hope this helps.
  2. sounds like a scope problem to me fella if you cant get the thing to zero at all now but just to certain has it got open sights? if so try zeroing at 10m with open sights and try shooting it from a cushion if possible that will rule out wrong hold technic and to what its worth in its current description you would be lucky to get £ but if you get it sorted ie, re blue and tune up your looking at £180 but it will cost about the same to get it done to a good standard hope this help
  3. well done Tony mate, nice shooting and write-up
  4. :stupid: agree eley wasps a shite and my new rifle hates jsb exact heavies in .177 but for all round quality i would say fx or aa fields
  5. a new sound mod shouldnt have pellets clipping the end but i had the same prob with my raider but mine has the shrouded barrel so i can live without, i would get it back to the shop and ask him to check the tread alignment on both the mod and the barrel
  6. good going there Davy look forward to the full writup and pics
  7. nice shooting and pics mate
  8. nice shooting and i think they are naturally multi coloured but a sort of mix of colours, but obviosley the prenounced colours get caught by predators first so you tend to see less of them
