cheers Davy i knew they were a good pellet thats why i thought i would give em a try but 7" spread was too much looked like i'd shot at the target with a scatter gun and Tony your right mate some guns just REALLY dont like certain pellets but i found the result extreme to say the least
so the problem is with a extra silencer on the end of the shrouded barrel?? aahhh i thought it was a prob with the barrel shroud on the 510 or maybee the thread on the end cap
have you checked your not "canting" the rifle? i know i sometimes have to check the rifle is straight otherwise your flight path changes otherwise could only suggest using the sitting FT position instead of prone
hi all just wondering if anyone has tried em as i bought a tin for my 177 webley raider but found that they were all over the place up down left right with about a 7" spread i put aa fields back in and it clover leafed at 30m i've heard of certain barrels not taking to pellets but this was not normal and yes i checked em for weight and damage and fill pressure everything was fine
air arms do one for their under lever's it has a male thread on the end of it and screws into your barrel at the end but i wouldnt bother to be honest as the action makes more noise than the muzzle blast
well done Tony,a lesser man would have thought more of his sport than of his obligation to the landowner its not nice taking out kits but on some permissions it has to be done well done for that
i remember that first shot with Si,s hw and the look on your face when you dropped that woddy knew you would get one one day i wish i still had mine but that is a nice looking rifle Gary what has Tench/Tweaky done to it?
nice shooting there fella Phantom you missed off the bit about a doe being able to retract a pregnancy as well if she feels the need to strange buggers them rabbits and with them breeding pretty much all year round its hard to bracket them in your scope to judge the distance as they are all bloody sizes at the mo
well Si you never cease to amaze me in the absolute selfless-ness you bring to this forum and to the people you choose to help as i've always said a true gent take care my mate and see you soon i hope
